It's becoming pretty well assumed now, but not a few hours ago when the five was posted. What's not that obvious is what other announcements, besides the o2 dvd, will be made on Wednesday/Thursday.

We all feel old at some point in time. First time I felt old was in 2010 when I saw secondary and high school photographs that my older brother posted on his Facebook. Then I feel old when I can't connect with the newer bands Gotye, etcetera, and then no one listens to R.E.M. anymore, or everybody has but forgotten the beautiful albums of 1996-8, and then Gotye keeps sounding like the Police that makes me feel old.

Josh Ritter has drawn comparisons to Dylan. I like a song he played live on the radio a few weeks ago, it's called "Galahad". Joe Pug has also been compared to Dylan. The new Bob Dylan was at the top of the CD charts on amazon.com when I checked a couple of weeks ago.

I have been "overexposed" to the song "Live and Die" - it's on every radio station I listen, morning and night, that I'm already tired of it. Can anybody recommend any really good songs of the Avett Brothers so that I don't lose complete faith in them?

Can't identify with that list, I don't think I own 4-5 of those albums listed, plus there's no R.E.M. to be seen anywhere! Going by this list I'm listening to the wrong stuff! (or I'm not part of The People)

It's a great place to discover new music. I especially find the "similar artists" section very helpful. For instance, for R.E.M. it lists: The Minus 5, Wilco, Counting Crows, 10.000 maniacs and many more. I'm not a paying member, however. It's one of the first places I visit (other than wikipedia) where I learn about artists.

Great bands. Although I wish Minus 5 albums were more generally available to purchase, it's quite a task to find their older CDs in mint condition!

Agree. He's becoming a great record producer. Plus the fact that Sansone is also working on this is good news. Quite an album to expect in 2013.

It's the same interview on both websites, nodepression reprinted it on the 13th. But yes, Sansone is credited as co-producer on both texts.
