The reasons for him to go may not be rational enough for you, but it's just the way it is. Some things just can't be explained (like the Tigers having the worst 2nd half of any World Series team in history). The players hate him, the fans hate him, and he hates it here. Everyone knows it's not all his fault. We all also know that wherever he goes, he'll be dominant and probably destroy the Yankees whenever he plays them. So be it. Just give us some pitching.

For the sake of everyone, he just has to get out of New York. It's gonna happen.

Pretty unlikely but I'd love to see it. The Bear hype has gotten a bit out of control the last few weeks.

WVU still has to go to Louisville, which won't be easy. Louisville did struggle with Cincy yesterday, but they also beat Miami 31-7 (and Broehm's working himself back into shape). While the Big East definitely isn't a top conference, they're definitely making strides. Pitt and Rutgers are improving, and I'd definitely right now take the Big East's top 4 over the ACC's. And if anyone doesn't think WVU's for real, just remember what they did to Georgia in last year's Sugar Bowl. The Mountaineers can play with anybody.

Can someone explain to me when Kenny Rogers became Sandy Koufax and Jeff Suppan turned into Bob Gibson? Baseball's just crazy. Oh, and congrats again to the Tigers. That sweep at the hands of the Royals sure seems a long, long time ago.

Nah, I can't stay away. Luckily, I had a family reunion today (no tv's anywhere), so I got to miss the disaster. Congrats to the Tigers, though. Glad you got to see it, Mr Rain. Was just thinking on the long drive home why music is better than sports. Music never lets you down. Special thanks to M. Ward for making the drive home an enjoyable one. (See, if I left this board I'd never hear about these amazing artists that you guys turn me on to). Oh, and the Yankees would trade A-Rod for Willis straight up and pay A-Rod's salary for the next 5 years.
