In Dennis Hoppers contract for being in Apocalypse Now, he was to be provided an oz of blow every week (or something like that)

Jim Marshall's "The Haight". Its a photo-documentary of Haight/Ashbury from roughly 1966 to 1969. Marshall was there from the beginning. Lots of great pictures and interesting articles. Something I learned-Dennis Hopper based his character from Apocalypse Now on Jim Marshall. JM must've been a handful to deal with.

Yep, I didn't lift a finger at all because I wasn't supposed to be in town but now I will be and a miracle ticket landed at my feet yesterday. Crappy seats but it doesn't matter because I tend to wander. Mildly excited.

Denny Tedesco had trouble licensing all the different tunes, that's why the film took so long to get released. I liked that the core crew worked on everything from Herb Alpert to Sonny & Cher to The Byrds to The Monkees to all those TV theme songs. They were consummate professionals who apparently passed on the RnR lifestyle for the stability of family and home. For what it was, it was a pretty cool snapshot of a specific era of RnR and Pop history.

Saw "The Wrecking Crew" on the big screen last night.

Today, a miracle ticket fell from the sky and landed at my feet. I'm going to the 7/3 Fare Thee Well show!

No, it was just a single young male, sitting in a bush about 10 feet from me and the mutt. They do have a shifty look to them.

Was listening to 8/23/69, the Bullfrog 2 festival, yesterday. Pig is deep into Love Light and he gets someone out of the audience to sing for awhile. The guy was just getting his groove on and Pig jumps back in and finishes the tune. Too much. What other band would do that?
-
For Mick to skirt the fact that the tune is indeed about blow is ridiculous.

I'm going to see it again tonite; this time in 3D

Apparently, rodents teeth will break off. They grow back fairly quick though. Our big guy, Humph, loves his carrots, celery and hay. And those nasty nails, I don't deal with them. Nope, not in my job description.

Today, signs look favorable that pork burritos will be assembled and consumed within the house.
