The day after the Bartman incident, I had a Cubs fan buddy of mine call me asking that I search the database I had access to for Bartman's personal information so he could go rough him up. I declined. True story.

So Cubs fans can say "We forgive you Bartman, you are not the cause of the 2003 meltdown"?

Perhaps the NRA will devise some new ideas into how we as a society should address the problem.

I ended up moving on. The first book didn't do much for me and I read mixed reviews of the rest of the series.

"Rat Farm" by The Meat Puppets. That album is holding up really well; there's some great tunes on it.

CDs aint dead yet; they said the same of vinyl and look at it now. ;-)

Finished "The Ice Harvest" by S. Phillips in one day. Nice, taut, crime noir. Debut novel too. Turns out there was a flick made of the novel in 2005. I may have to see that.

Watched "Manos, the Hands of Fate" for the first time since I saw its debut on MST3K back in the early 90s. Hilarious stuff. I think I need a Torgo t-shirt.

Scored a Big Chief folding pocket knife at a estate sale this morning for .50 cents. Going for 30-35 bucks on the net.

Anybody read this series? I'm almost done with the Gunfighter and not sure if I want to commit to reading the other 7 books. What say you, yay or nay?

I recently listened to IWTYH from Alpine '89(?) and it nearly brought a tear to my eye, thinking about Brent having a year left to live and the resulting broken promises he makes in the song to his kid(s).

Update on the GTB show tomorrow..........its starts at 11am, not 11:30 as previously reported. Sadly, I will not be in attendance as HR put the clampdown on my midday activities.
