Last night I got in the van and turned on the game. Ten seconds later the Mets hit that 3 run shot. The follow up homer made me groan in horror knowing that Cubs fans could plainly see their hopes and dreams crumbling before their eyes.

KevinG, I know, I was just bitching. About once a year, I have regrets about not having cable or satellite but that silly notion passes quickly.

I may have actually watched the Cubs game tonight if it was on WGN like most of the rest of the televised Cubs games over the last 40 or so years.

Today I'll be frying up a mess of lightly breaded catfish filets. American farm raised, darn tootin'.

What I was trying to say was, I want my library to stock it.

After watching last nights debate, I'm feeling the Bern. Sanders came off as genuine, Hill a polished, bought off Washington insider. Chafee was hilarious. Webb actually bragged about killing a man...that was a first for presidential debate history. I watched it with 10 other people. The decision was unanimous. Bernie won that round.
