Finished "Godless." Fairly predictable, but still enjoyable. Jeff Bridges was damn good.

Yep.. Mitch was excellent. Eleven piece band -- strings, horns, pedal steel from Eric Heywood (Son Volt)-- it was incredible. He closed with Bowie's/Mott's "All the Young Dudes" and the Velvets' "Rock and Roll." A great night.

The XTC documentary "This is Pop" -- thanks to poster "i'm only sleeping" for the recommendation. So many great songs. I also watched a Bowie documentary on HBO that focused on the last five years of his life.

^^ Looks like Jeff won't be joining Mavis Staples onstage at The Vic on 2/3. Was hoping for that -- maybe by hologram?
