  1. And note that none of them are trying to be president.
  2. I think there is a difference, but I think it is important to note that any chances Obama has had to vote to make a statement about the war, even an empty one (apparently, as I'm not that well versed on his voting history) he has voted to extend it. Again, I'm not saying he would have voted for the war at the beginning, but I think it is misleading to use that as a feather in his cap.
  3. What Bjorn is implying is that Al Queda was, up until the day of 9/11 and even now, funded and supported by the United States government, who knew everything they were doing and set it up themselves.
  4. I suppose that could've been worded better, sorry. I just don't think it's valid to point to the fact that he didn't vote for the war. It just seems disingenuous to use that as a point for him. You can point to the fact that he was outspoken about it, but that he didn't vote for it is irrelevant. And didn't he vote to extend the funding recently?
  5. I don't know. Bobbob1313 has been my screen name as long as I can remember. I think I've had it since I was 10. I can't remember what was going through my mind.
  6. I drive a 96 Rav 4. I'm assuming this isn't what you are looking for, but if the newer models are anything like this one, they are great, solid cars.
  7. I used to have them alot, but they've subsided for me in the last year or so, which is a very good thing.
  8. I'm not excusing her, but I'm also not excusing him.
  9. They know he did it. They've said so. They can't charge him because they don't know where he is and because he probably no longer exists in the world.
  10. Well, that's because George Bush himself blew it up. And he would have gotten away with it too, if it weren't for those meddling bloggers, who, with their keen powers of insight, were able to do what the combined powers of the 9/11 commission, 500+ congressmen and women, and the entirety of the media were unable to do. I mean, come on. Something this big would not be possible to cover up in today's day and age. The media is too all over things, and somebody would've said something.
  11. Because he's probably been dead for 3 years, and there's no point trying someone of something if their whereabouts aren't known. What do they have to gain from charging anything?
  12. How does this show need redeeming? It rocked.
  13. I'm not really sure what his points are. What hasn't the government answered regarding 9/11?
  14. Jeff really left it all on stage for the residencies, I thought they should've taken a break. Either way, this song with the Total Pros might be a top 10 wilco song for me.
  15. The horns take this song to another level. It goes from sounding like a Let It Be era Beatles song to a White Album song. That is a move in the right direction.
  16. Nels does things on guitars that make me want to either stop playing altogether, or practice nonstop.
  17. I air drum for this song. You should see me in the car when this comes on.
  18. I've grown to love this song over the last few weeks.
  19. The fact that this song has only been played 36 times is crazy considering it is their best song. "Magazine Called Sunset!"
  20. Indeed. Though I fear "Dreamer In My Dreams" is still going to be a rarity...
  21. "even the pentagon files describe the objection to be civil war. And that
  22. HMD every once in a while has really distorted drums for some reason. I noticed it on the last webcast as well.
  23. I took a break from my Arrested Development marathon to listen to this show. Is this guy really trying to pick a fight with Tweedy? He'd kick his ass.
