  1. Has "Jesus Etc." been played at every show?
  2. Great minds. Man, Summerteeth has some fucking beautiful harmonies. These last two songs really illustrate that.
  3. This very well may be my favorite Wilco song. It is between this and Dreamer in my Dreams for sure.
  4. This was the song that made me love Wilco originally. I made a thread about it and everything. When I was 14. So long ago.
  5. Horns make every song better. Can we just adopt the Tonal Pros.
  6. Totally. He sounds so bored during this song. It's kind of funny.
  7. 1 Sunken Treasure 2 One By One 3 Shouldn't Be Ashamed 4 You Are My Face 5 Side With The Seeds 6 Pot Kettle Black 7 War On War 8 Pieholden Suite (w/ Bird & Horns) 9 Muzzle of Bees (w/ Bird) 10 It's Just That Simple 11 Nothingsevergonnastandinmyway (Again) Is that right so far?
  8. I'm loving that they play this song now. I really want to see it live.
  9. I'm not concerned about the audio. Sounds good from here. I've got it turned up nice and loud. "Shouldn't Be Ashamed"
  10. No video here, but I can't really complain.
  11. I thought it might be Jeff Solo until I heard Nels' slide.
  12. I was told today that there has been something of a backlash against these guys because of their upper middle class upbringing. I hadn't heard this, but it seems like it was echoed in at least one post in this thread. Are people fucking serious?
  13. Jeez, this show is going to be insane. I can just tell. Gonna be damn hard to top last night, but I think they may. "Was I In Your Dreams" w/ horns last night was amazing.
  14. I don't know what this means, so I'm gong to give a very straightforward answer. No, I am not going to see Captian and Tenille. I am going to see Radiohead.
  15. I know the one George was playing was one of only 2 made at the time.
  16. I plan on being in Chicago within 6 months of receiving my degree in journalism (with a concentration in music).
  17. Jeez, 50 in miami would be a stretch. There's no room for anything but detached irony in a city like this. These guys are way to earnest.
  18. Let's cross our fingers for a tour that, at the very least, takes them through Denver and Miami, eh?
  19. I am listening to the debut. I guess I have a really weird reaction to it, but this album is really heavy, to me. Musically it is so happy, but lyrically it really gets to me. It's a very melancholy feeling when I listen to it. But I love it.
  20. Also, I think their review of these guys' first album is one of the few reviews that I think they nailed. Perfectly describes everything I love about it.
