  1. I don't know what that means, commie. This is America.
  2. He was having some trouble with the lyrics for "Icky Thump" at Bonnaroo.
  3. I couldn't get through Confederacy of Dunces. That main character was by far the most annoying character ever.
  4. I tried to stay away from them. It's kind of amazing how many of these anti-capitalism, pot head hippies can afford the prices for Bonnaroo. It's pretty expensive, all things considered.
  5. Tool was sort of boring. Not a fan.
  6. They were hanging out afterwards so I went up and told them it was a good show. That was it though. I'll download them now.
  7. Dr. Dog did a VIP show on thursday night so I caught that. They were a lot of fun, though I'd never heard them before. I thought they were really good and I look forward to checking them out.
  8. Back home. Boo. Bonnaroo was awesome. Top 5 sets at Bonnaroo: 1. The Roots 2. Wilco 3. The Hold Steady 4. The Flaming Lips 5. The Police The Police sounded really good, although Stuart Copeland sounded a bit off on some songs to me. Like he could keep up the tempo or something. Still, it's the Police. They changed up alot of the arrangements, and extended some of the solos and what not. "So Lonely" was awesome. That Wilco set was probably the best I've ever seen of them. The band was in a terrific mood, and they all kept on laughing and joking in between songs and just generally
  9. I agree with most of these. I disagree with the Sgt Pepper's one, though I don't think it's the best beatles album. It's like5th best. But it's still better than 99% of the music I've heard in my life. The Velvet Underground one is spot on. I don't get them at all.
  10. So I'm in my hotel room. Decided to skip the late night tonight as I got there at 11 am this morning and have had like 11 hours of sleep in the past 3 days. Seriously that Roots show may have been the best I've ever seen.
  11. The Roots may have just played the set of the festival. Amazing. Seriously.
  12. Departure in t-minus 6 and a half hours.
  13. I'm sure it was for your wife. P.S. that was on my laptop, which had formerly belonged to my sister, who doesn't know anything about anything and downloads shit quality music.
  14. I've been meaning to get to it, but everytime I go to blockbuster they never have it. My roommate and I are getting a blockbuster.com service (the thing where you rent the movies) so I'll rent it then.
  15. "Walk Away" is also a really good song. One time I YSI'ed the Kelly Clarkson album to fat.boy. He said it was for his wife. Yeah right.
  16. I have yet to see the 2nd and 3rd evil dead movies. I am a big fan of the original ...of the Dead series, and don't think the remake was even close to as good.
  17. That first Evil Dead movie is pretty fucked up. I'm not sure a 5 year old should be watching that. I mean, tree rape. Thats just not right.
  18. "Since U Been Gone" is probably better than anything Wilco's ever done.
  19. Thats basically how I feel about the Hostel movies. I got into a big debate with my friend who says that I'm closeminded for saying that I dislike these torture movies outright. I came back with the old "I'm sorry I don't like seeing people's achilles tendons being cut off". Hostel part 1 was absolutely awful. Seriously.
  20. Ask and ye shall recieve. The power of the VC baseball thread is not to be ignored.
  21. Not only is it bad for the kids, but it's a bad movie...
  22. Yeah, I think that was Davis. I don't like it, but if it was a close game I could understand.
  23. Yes, but I think you are missing the amazing expression on Miguel Cabrera's face. He looks like he's gonna bitchslap the foul ball away.
