The clostest Sonic to me is in Orlando. I'm not gonna be able to make it.

I saw the VW commercial during the Marlins game today. I have to say, it's an awful commercial, but it's really awesome to hear Nels' ragged solo on my tv box. So much so that I played the commercial three times in a row.

Some DQ's have onion rings. Mine didn't. If they did I would have never quit.

Arcade Fire & LCD Soundsystem Tour

I'm not sure what that means, but I'd like it to mean "My Dearest Chris, The Arcade Fire will be playing Pompano Beach Amphitheatre (even though it's a shitty venue, it's just about the only one that is the right size for them) in the next two months. And they'll actually be doing two nights in a row. And Win says 'hi'." -

Florida? AHAHAHAHAHAH -
My point is most of the people who complain about his weight do so in regards to his defense. They think his weight is the reason he has made so many errors. These people obviously do not watch the Marlins play, because every error he has made, pretty much has been a result of him not taking his time or just not thinking about the play. Also Aaron Boone is the worst first baseman in the league, so that doesn't help our infielders either. He can't pick the ball to save his life.

Thats why I feel they are better off not making a move there. It seemed like it was just a move to energize the base and show they are committed to winning and blah blah blah, but I feel like it wasn't worth it for them. I mean, yeah, they got past the Heat, but I really think they get past the Heat this year with the same lineup as last year. The Heat were awful this season.

Basically, the way I look at it is he could be the worst defensive 3rd baseman in the major (which he isn't, he's got a canon arm and good range to his right, it's his left that needs work) but he's so ridiculously good as a hitter that it wouldn't matter to me.

He also had dinner with Miguel Cabrera and told him he's fat. Meanwhile, Cabrera is having the best year of his career and is currently 2nd in the NL in OPS. So I think his weight is fine.

So we played like absolute crap and Dwyane Wade forgot how to play basketball and Luol Deng scored like a thousand points because of Ben Wallace? I get it now. It makes perfect sense. Jorge, I was referring to the Wallace move. It just seemed like a lot of money for what amounted to not a huge upgrade. You guys were already one of, if not the best defensive teams in the league and what you really needed was a good post threat on the offensive side of the ball. Ben Wallace is not that. I really think that was a move that was meant for a "win now" mindset, and I don't think you guys are buil

Dear Mr. Dots, Do you drive a car?

Will you please refute even one point he's made? Nobody is saying VW is among the best. They are saying they are above average, and that is true. I posted the figures at one point that showed that and I'm not going to be bothered to go find them since you ignored them the first time. Also, dude I don't see your Toyota Echo on that list. Why do you hate the environment?

Bulls fans seem to love Tyrus Thomas from who I've talked to, so maybe I'm missing something but I'm not sure he'll ever be more than a good defensive player and a mediocre offensive threat. And you guys just signed Ben Wallace to like a huge contract to be a good defensive player with no offense. I'm not sure I'll ever understand why you guys signed Wallace. That trade has never made any sense to me...

The Marlins-White Sox series has been a war of attrition. It's a series to see who can give the game away more times before recording 27 outs. It's been pathetic.

Now playing for the month of June...

I'm indifferent to that song, actually. They didn't change it up enough for me to say it's awful or great. It's just a straight up louder version. I am dissapointed that they seem to be sticking with the "Boulevard of Broken Dreams" guitar tone and drum sounds. I was hoping they'd go in a new direction, since all of their albums thus far have seen them do something different each time... -

Actually a pretty solid collection of covers, not counting the atrocity that is Aerosmith's version of "Give Peace A Chance". What the hell were they thinking there? Christina Aguilera's cover of "Mother" is fantastic, and I really enjoy Ben Harper's "Beautiful Boy". The Flaming Lips "Just Like Starting Over" is pretty good, and I really like Jakob Dylan and Dhani Harrison's "Gimme Some Truth". I mean, really if you take out Avril Lavigne's "Imagine", Aerosmith's "Give Peace A Chance", and Big & Rich's "Nobody Told Me", there's not a bad song on here. Also, hearing Regina Spektor do -
He's really good, and he would probably make the Bulls the team to beat in the East.

I thought I wasn't on the list until I remembered I'm not "Bobbob1313" anymore...

I hear Miami's lovely this time of year. As for me, Bonnaroo was my big vacation for the summer. May go to New Orleans in September though.

I missed so many of the Jazz artists I wanted to see because of scheduling conflicts. I really wanted to see Ornette Coleman, Ravi Coltrane, and the Philadelphia Experiment and didn't get to see any of them. I did catch some acts that were good, as well as the discussion on friday afternoon that was very interesting.
