  1. 78-81 Bruce was about the top of Mt Rock. I saw him 4 times in that period in theaters to arenas. I've seen him a lot over the years & he's never topped that for me. A few shows that stood out for me after 81 were the River tour in 2016 & the tour without E Street for Human Touch/Lucky Town. I got lucky & saw an excellent show on that tour. This year it was pretty good but there were a few meh moments. I won't spoil it for you. Will be interested in your thoughts. Enjoy the show!
  2. Very interested in listening to this whole record. I like the first single more than anything on Cruel Country. That's just me though.
  3. Dealing with a bunch of medical stuff. I had a MRI on my upper spine that caused a lot of excitement in doctor circles. Recovering from a round of chemo & had 1 minor surgery. Supposed to have 2 more "minor" surgeries soon. The second one isn't that minor as it involves a hospital stay & the words "bone saw" were uttered. Not a good sign. Right now waiting for insurance/scheduling & for doctors to decide who is going to do the surgery. All this is taking a big chunk of summer. The good thing is early days but can't talk about it yet. Let's just say Cupid may be around.
  4. I've got too much bad stuff (& 1 potential good thing!) going on to go on a rant but we're in deep trouble no matter which way we turn. I'll write more when things settle down a bit. Didn't want you to think you were being ignored @kidsmoke.
  5. I always thought 11th Dream Day were underrated. Sadly for them they got caught up in the Atlantic Records throw it on the wall & see if it sticks thing. Happened to a lot of bands.
  6. I listened to night 1 & it was pretty good albeit a bit short. I can't go this tour due to health & finances.
  7. I saw them in a club last year & they were fantastic. The brothers have a great band backing them up & tons of good material.
  8. So did everyone who went enjoy the Cure shows? I'm hoping that it won't be 7 years this time until I can see them again. Maybe another tour when the alleged new record actually comes out?
  9. Quite good with excellent soundtrack. I couldn't sleep so I just binged half the new season. A certain band we all like is featured & lots of Replacements as a cherry on top.
  10. We had the same situation last summer & it lasted a long time. I followed NIN through Oregon ending up in Bend on the other side of the mountains. When I was driving home once I got over the mountains it was Blade Runner all of the sudden. We've got a little this year but nothing seerious (yet).
  11. I got decent ADA seats for Seattle night 2. $40 before Ticketmaster magic.
  12. I was 1 day early. The Vancouver show ended with 10:15 Saturday Night/Killing an Arab. D'oh!
  13. Well, here I am in recovery mode. Pretty good show, 2 hours 45 minutes on the button. TBH I thought they were better in 2016. That's not saying they were bad this time. I saw an epic show in Portland (Ridgefield) in 2016 that would be hard to top. Part of the issue was a sort of lame Seattle crowd which happens a fair amount. Let's call them second encore people. For instance there were no woah, woahs in Push & very few hands in the sky during FTEOTDGS. For the most part I still can't understand Robert when he talks but he's very clear when he's singing. His voice was great. He must be tak
