  1. I'm listening to Blow by Blow real loud right now.
  2. RIP Jeff. He was 1 of my big musical heroes & totally changed my path musically in 1976. He opened for Aerosmith & blew them away. It was my 4th concert & made a huge impression.
  3. A rocking Iggy record to start the year. What a fantastic idea!
  4. It was worth it just to watch David Lynch lighting a cigar. He was fantastic. Michelle Williams was, too.
  5. I just thought it was a bit abrupt, I wanted more. The film wasn't that long & they could've shown how Aubrey got to that place for instance. I still liked the movie.
  6. I wore myself out this morning between taking care of refrigerator & a dump run with the spoiled food. Pretty major sinus infection so went to bed when I was done. I did well though. I researched online & ended up going to my little local appliance store that's been around over 50 years. I got a scratch & dent (nothing major). Managed to get out of it for $635 which includes delivery, haul away the old one & tax. It was $300 off the regular price. Feel good about managing to avoid the big boxes, getting a good deal & supporting local people. I try to do that as much as poss
  7. Ya, it definitely wasn't a comedy. I checked it out because of the good reviews. In that category, I thought the Fabelmans was much better. The holiday movie schedule was definitely lame this year.
  8. 2022 getting its last punches in. Wind storm knocked out power last night. Then I woke up with a roaring sinus infection & found that my refrigerator has bit the dust. Freezer full of spoiled food. Hassle I could seriously live with out!
  9. Ya, ending not the best. Film better than most of the crap out there. Aubrey is really good in it.
  10. I don't do vinyl due to financial reasons & because my hands don't work right from the arthritis so I drop stuff a real lot. CDs take that abuse better. That being said, I picked up the anniversary package of Wish on CD. It's pretty wonderful. Not the extra stuff so much but the remaster of the album is incredible. It sounds like a totally different record. So good it's moving up my list of favorite Cure records. I was in the music biz over 25 years & have seen hundreds of shows. I used to get paid to go & at my peak I was out 3 or 4 nights a week. For years the Cure were my bucket
  11. Songs of a Lost World (might not be exact title) - The Cure Finally!
  12. For anyone interested you can pre-order the whole upcoming tour for a discount. It's too rich for me but some might enjoy it. If the Seattle show is good like the last one was I'll certainly order that later. I got a cd of the River show I saw & it's real good, still listen to it. Almost 4 hours! Hoping the upcoming tour is as good. We shall see. https://live.brucespringsteen.net/packages/2,1254/Bruce-Springsteen-The-E-Street-Band-mp3-flac-download-2023-US-Tour-Audio-Pre--Order.html?utm_source=livebruce&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=20221215-livebruce-tour-audio-preorde
  13. You're hardly impartial & if you bother to read my original post it was totally Wilco related. I wasn't battling with anyone & we actually had a good discussion going on about my original question/observation. It just irked me (& others) that the thread was arbitrarily closed for no apparent reason. So it's ok to have an opinion only if you agree with it? Doesn't seem right. It's kind of one of those who died & made you God questions (1 of my favorite lines!).
  14. Haven't jumped yet......besides my friend's little grandkids I'm fine with ignoring the whole thing. Safer that way.
