Ya, sadly it's too rich for my blood. The only kind of pricey things I've got this year was the Flaming Lips Yoshimi box which was a screaming deal & the Beck, Bogert, Appice live set. That one I cheated as my goddaughter gave me a gift certificate last Christmas that mostly covered it.

Beach House played Sub Pop's 30th anniversary party & it was great. The label took over the beach about 2 miles down the road from my house & the show was free. There were multiple stages & Beach House played last. It was pretty funny when Beach House played there was so much fog on the stage that you couldn't see the band. Very reminiscent of early Jesus & Mary Chain..

How was it? I heard she was performing without a band. Is that the case? I was thinking about it as my friend is way into the 80s stuff but I'm not wild about the no band concept.

He hasn't been in good shape for a long time. There was a really good documentary about him a few years ago & he was in a wheelchair then.

How did you like Dylan? I've been going to see him since 1978. Sometimes he's great, sometimes not so much. I was underwhelmed by the show I saw for the current record. The time before was transcendent though.

Setlist looks great. Due to some health issues I wasn't able to make the show. Gave the tickets to a friend & his wife & they enjoyed the show. Usually the staff at the Paramount are great,
