Why was the thread regarding the Fred & Wilco shut down? It was a reasonable discussion (BTW I never said hate about anyone. I merely quoted a humorous take from Robert Pollard of Guided by Voices that I witnessed in person) until a party (bro man) from the Head side got all sensitive & OCD. I thought I had a valid question/observation about current Wilco trends.

Now that the European tour is done I'm hoping we get an announcement in January for the North American tour. I've heard several shows from Europe & the shows are fantastic. They've been doing 5 songs from the upcoming album & they're great. Close to 3 hour shows again. They've added Perry Bamonte to the line-up on guitar & keyboards so at times it's the Lynyrd Skynyrd of goth haha. I had fears that they were going to do another nostalgia go round & I'm happy to say I was wrong. I may go to more than one show if I'm able physically & financially. I expect the tickets are goi

Nice. I was supposed to see them but wasn't well when they hit town. Hopefully next time.

I liked the Terror also but I thought the book was better.

It's been renewed for another season. Hopefully they will keep the quality up. I liked it so much I ordered the book upon which the series is based on.

I've got to think on this more but I know my favorite record of the year is Particle Kid "Time Capsule". It's a bit overlong but overall it's a stunner. I saw them open for the Flaming Lips a few weeks ago & they definitely bring it live. Micah Nelson is moving up my favorite musician list fast.

It would be cool if Susan sang a Christine McVie song.

Perhaps I didn't get it on the right thread but wanted to put it out there. I have a lot (too much) going on right now & was being lazy. Glad I pointed it out to you. I don't know why I hesitated on the series at first. Probably because it was described as a comedy by some & I'm not really into comedy right now. Also, I was a little sick of Jeremy Allen White after the trainwreck that was the end of "Shameless". Glad I saw the error of my ways!

Wow, episode 7 with Spiders (Kidsmoke) the soundtrack to the kitchen chaos was stunning. I hope season 2 is as good as season 1 was & they don't ruin it.

From what I read, the same team responsible for Rogue 1 was in charge of Andor. Rogue 1 is by far my favorite recent Star Wars movie even though it's kind of a WW2 movie redone. Lots of good plot twists, no happy ending (waving ghosts, teddy bear creatures etc).

Definitely will watch this when it's available to me.

USA advances. Whew! -
A friend went & saw Lemonheads this weekend & was really disappointed. He said Evan was really fooked up to the point where my friend felt sorry for him. My friend ended up walking out on the show.

Impossible Germany on "The Bear". I'm behind on tv but this is a pretty good series. Obviously the music is in a good place!

Via Chicago on "The Bear".

The long awaited England - US match was deadly dull. I really hate 0-0 matches. I guess it's the American in me. That match was 2 hours of my life I'll never get back. BTW: even though I'm not a huge soccer fan I am an Arsenal supporter. I have a friend in England that got me hooked. My friend got attacked returning from a match & was in a bad way. I got in touch with the club & they were so awesome! I even got all the way to Arsene Wenger! Wenger himself wrote my friend a letter which gave him a boost when he really needed it. Top notch & classy organization!
