my wife routinely beats my ass at wii bowling. her current high is 278. my high in real bowling is 200 (i'm not an awesome bowler). her real life high is 130. that means nothing in wii-land though.

i saw the original 3:10 to Yuma. I'll probably see the remake. the list above was great. I'd reorder it, but good call all around. UNFORGIVEN and THE WILD BUNCH are absolutely essential right away. i love westerns.

until cleveland decides on stability over hype and excitement, i can't stand to watch them. they've had 10 starting QBs in the last 10 years. coaches last about 3 years. they've had a new offensive coordinator every year the past 4. i'll just watch the seahawks instead.

yeah, the browns got destroyed. i'll be surprised if romeo crennel makes it to the end of the season.

me too, except i took care of my little brother (2 years younger). I had to cook dinner for the family since I was 8. That said, i didn't have epilepsy. and i'm 32, so this was the mid-80s.

the clip of him saying we're kicking ass in iraq reminded me of the robot chicken segment when he thought he was a jedi.

i think the cleveland thing was in 95. i was too cool for my own good back then and missed it entirely.

that SOUNDS like weak batteries. I've had similar weirdness (but the cursor going to the bottom rather than left or right) when the batteries were dead. try to swap them out for known good batteries and see how it goes. We bought the rechargable thing for 2 of our 3 remotes and it's been very nice so far.

there's some REALLY shady parts of that town, but most of the burbs are alright. they still have kroger's grocery stores, which always seems weird to me since all the kroger's closed around here in the late 70s/early 80s. there's only a couple live music venues, one of which (elbos) is on the edge of the hip area with the decent record stores and expensive bars. they have decent transit.

i smoked camel wides for a while. now that they brought them back, perhaps i should start smoking again. free cd + a much higher cool factor just might be worth lung cancer.

i poured a jigger of jameson over some butter pecan ice cream. that was nice.

preseason is fun -- it's almost like minor league or player strike football.

if the amp is fixed bias (like peavey and a lot of others), you have to have it modded (or mod it yourself) to add a bias pot. i wouldn't recommend it for the novice, but it's an option.

how is it that the cleveland browns managed to make the bears look like the browns last night? crazy.
