the TC Electronic G-Force is one of the only multi-effects that i like a lot. it's not a cost effective solution though.

i really don't like solid state amps, so personally i'd avoid the AVTs. but i do love the jcm 800 combo amp. that's all tube and all rad.

i'm crazy about my presonus firebox. it's firewire and sounds so warm and nice. i use a cheaper condenser mic. i might have to buy a carvin tube mic sometime in the future.

in general, a guitar center tech is only different from a guitar center salesperson because he's the only person in the store that knows an allen wrench is a type of tool and not some specific guy's tool. avoid gc for mechanical issues. just look at how cruddy their in-store setups are before you ask them to put down the glue they're sniffing and drill into your baby.

bill mahr was right when he said we have "fuckup fatigue" when it comes to our government. we're too beaten down to be outraged, which in and of itself is an outrage.

i have a lot of friends who have worked in legal sex businesses and have heard second hand a lot of horror stories that run under the radar of news reports. sex workers have very dangerous occupations and society doesn't seem to care (yet society employs an awful lot of people in these industries so someone's keeping them in business). i have no love or respect for faux news' "journalism". i'm glad that someone or anyone in the mainstream press is paying attention.
