  1. I'm moving this week and packed up my vinyl just yesterday! U-Haul has a size that is 100% perfect. If you want I'll check tonight what they're labeled as (got them free on craigslist).
  2. The Roots know how to do 2.0s, that's for sure.
  3. I remember particularly not enjoying this song when I used to try to listen to this album.
  4. The Roots' Phrenology has like a whole EP at the end of it.
  5. Knowing bjornicus is happy.
  6. You 'love' a song with a 'terrible' chorus?
  7. Their 'She Said She Said' is probably my all-time favorite Beatles cover.
  8. This coming from the guy who something or other.
  9. I bought this on Record Store Day and it skipped about ten times before making it through a verse of Can't Stand It. I chalked it up to me needing a new needle (which I haven't gone out and got)...hadn't read about the skipping issues. Wilco75, did you read about that on VC?
  10. I recently rescued an LP copy of this from my parents' basement. Poor thing is in tough shape, but it's a keeper since it's the only REM vinyl that my household ever had. First REM album I really got to know - our local music video channel (V66!) used to play the video for 'Can't Get There From Here' all the time.
  11. I just want to say that I've never watched this show but for some perverse reason I read this thread faithfully. Sad to see it will be over soon.
  12. So he's not kidding when he says "a guy might've slipped in there sometime, no way of knowing."
  13. Ouch, I just hurt myself rolling my eyes! It's influenced by RCR, it's not a cover.
  14. Yes. I also think it's sorta creepy that everyone is piling on with the "find new friends" frenzy. Jeez. Sure, perhaps B's friends could use a dose of 'WTF why do we need to be plastered?' but this thread is using bobblehead's quote like it's a hard truth. It's not so black/white.
  15. I should ask my friend if he's digitized his VHS of us performing Symptom of the Universe at our high school talent show in '90.
  16. You Are My Face might be Wilco's greatest achievement, and I think if you dropped it into any Wilco album, it would rise to the top.
  17. You Are My Face is the bestest. Hate It Here is the sentimental favorite.
  18. Preach on, sister. I'll add the 30+ minutes of "Updating iTunes library" that follows every update.
  19. That happened to Ponch on CHiPs once. Burned his pants and everything. Maybe that's where my disdain for litterbug smokers started.
