  1. Same thing happened to me. I was being "logged out" for security purposes? Only once did I get to see it done by seats and by price, so I finally got to see the words : sold out.
  2. I got my 1st priority 2 tickets to Concord. Row R Seats 101/102 which are on the aisle! I am still pulling up nothing for Boston. I'm only looking for one too. Make sure that you click on the X next to the ticket if you want to not keep them. I looked for more Concord after out of curiosity and found Row J & M. Anyone see any Boston tickets as of 10:17? I only saw an option to buy 1 then no option?
  3. Are James Cameron, Alan Moore, and Pierre Culliford behind these new body scanners?
  4. Really? Cool! Well, I'll still stick with going to Boston & Concord. I'll save my money for (The Summer Tour)
  5. This really would have changed the overall tone of Up In The Air. Ryan Bingham : I travelled 10 million miles, but now I'm dying of radiation poisoning.
  6. Make sure she gets/picks a great internship site. It's mighty tough to find a stable job in that industry. Friends of mine interned at MTV, VH1, Daily Show, etc. I chose to stay close to home and save on 3-4 month's rent on no pay. I interned at AVID which was awesome, but I didn't get any free software like the last guy. Feel free to drop me a line if you want any tips on that stuff. MA is a hotbed of activity as I'm sure you've heard.
  7. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4iIYRZWBd9Y One of the Best youtube videos I've ever seen! Stick with it all the way through. Edit: Oh yeah, you got to love his "disclaimer" that he shot this all "by himself". Keep dreaming pal.
  8. I'm guessing that they play Sonny Feeling on Ferguson since he tapes his show in sunny Los Angeles.
  9. VC Weighs in on An Evening With Vs. Special Guests Hmm. No. Highly doubtful.
  10. One thing that I would like to point out about Inglourious Basterds is that the running time is so briskly paced. Isn't it though? I think I can count in my head the number of scenes (or locations if you will) in the film. When you really think about it there aren't that many. And for a film that runs close to 2 and a half hours that says something about Tarantino's strengths as both a writer and director.
  11. "ESPN.com's Jerry Crasnick tweets, "I just heard that Red Sox have talked to the Mets about a Mike Lowell-for-Luis Castillo trade. Not sure how serious it is." He adds that Lowell is expendable with Adrian Beltre in the fold. Also, with Castillo gone, the Mets could go after Orlando Hudson. The deal certainly clears an unwanted player for both teams. But while it is easy to see Lowell getting some at-bats for the Mets at first, and even spelling David Wright at third base, where Castillo fits in- given his poor defense at second base, and the existence of Dustin Pedroia- with Boston is harde
  12. I don't remember. I seem to recall not needing one, but thinking that we would a la the old way. I am logged into the site ready to go! I think the layout will change Wed 10am to buy tix. Of course, I could be wrong. And where's the official Wilcoworld HQ Email? Anyone get one?
  13. I hope that you mean Wednesday morning? I had no problem for the Lowell tickets, although I signed in to get a password for Wed and haven't received it yet?
  14. Thanks to raneonme for the link. Wilco in Concord, NH $35 advance $37 day of Seating Capacity: approximately 1,300.
  15. According to this site Wilco plays CT tix are $35. That would be a nice constant price to stick to, but we'll soon see.
  16. From Brooklynvegan: "Wilco will play a run of 16 concerts in Eastern U.S. cities beginning in Miami, FL on March 22 and culminating in Pittsburgh, PA on April 11. The concerts are presented as "An Evening with Wilco" and will feature extended, varied sets exploring material from each of the accomplished Chicago sextet's seven studio albums. The tour includes concerts in Clearwater, Savannah, Atlanta, Durham, Richmond, Bethesda, Montclair, Providence, Boston, Philadelphia and Pittsburgh, and features Wilco's first concert appearances in the cities of Scranton, PA, Concord, NH and Hartford, CT
  17. WOW!!! It feels good to be back in the Just A Fan section and discussing tour dates. I didn't expect this this soon. You know, I was reading the free local NH newspaper the Hippo while stuck in the 2 day weekend snowstorm and on the back they had a full page color ad for the Capitol Centre and it crossed my mind "What if Wilco were to play here?". Then I laughed and said maybe. I have some weird type of Nostradamus thing with this band. I remember thinking how cool would it be for Wilco to come to my hometown of Lowell and then it happened like a week later. I'm a bit surprised, happy
  18. Juno (I wrote this on IMDB because I had to get it out of my head and into words. People over there keep thinking that Mark is a pedophile. I guess it's something that I never discussed with someone before. Usually you talk about the witty lines and not this. I'm sure I'm not the only who thought the following? Maybe all those posters on IMDB are just a bunch of kids? ) I just watched this movie for the 1st time in 2 years. Being a man in my early 30s I could definitely feel what Mark was going through. Also, being a 16 year old at one point I think I knew what Juno was going through too.
  19. I'm in the Two Thousand Ten boat. Although, I am willing to try both variations in front of people in the 1st 6 months of the year. You know? To get my feet wet. I want to see which type of people think about correcting me or why they would in the first place. It's odd though because almost everyone I've heard referred to 2012 as Twenty Twelve. I think people like the abstract idea of saving a syllable to perhaps use that millisecond to post something witty on Twitter or some networking site. Think about it. People had more time in the 60s. That's why they referred to 2001: A Space Odys
  20. Ah, yes. The song that pondered "when I marry Bono".
  21. I assume you mean that he goes with the "Wait and see" approach to garner more money out of a deal. Or rather he solidly suggests it to his clients who also probably want to garner as much money as they can in such a position. The assumption I guess was that the Red Sox would counter the Mets' offer with a higher price tag which did not happen. Then 2-3 weeks went by. If Bay really wanted to stay with the Sox, I think he would have signed with them. But I think that Boras chimed in with "wait and see" about the Red Sox to Bay who had dollar signs in his eyes. I agree $6 million is $6 mill
  22. One of the strangest offseason moves I can remember. Bay gets a nice offer from both the Mets and Red Sox and declines both. Then news comes out last week that he wants to sign with the Sox. Reports say that he is "lukewarm" on signing with the Mets. Then he ends up signing with the Mets. Edit: So much for wanting to play close to home. I think he wanted to sign and stay with the Sox, but Bozo Bore Ass fucked it up for him. Then no one really was interested in him really. Thus sparking that old flame for Boston "take me back." $6 million more than the Sox offered him, but for a 4th
  23. I think it'd be pretty easy to cast the title role...
