Hey Man, Were you the guy who yelled out "play Gun" ? The guy (who sat to the left of me one seat over) that Jeff mentioned during the show. He said something like "I can't see you out there....but every so often the darkness talks to me....like hey why don't you play Gun." If not , well see you in June. Awesome venue. I too was in the back at Pines and it is excellent no matter where. Allow ample driving time because it gets a little bit confusing. The speakers look like something out of a castle. Unreal. Three dollars and 63 cents, I think they will blow you away. I saw them for

Hello Everyone, I had a hunch this would work. I only thought of this a few minutes ago. This is how I got 2nd row dead center for Jeff Tweedy at the Calvin Theater in Nov 05. At midnight they went on sale. It was posted in Via Chicago and I luckily checked at 1202 am and I rushed on and voila. Now it's my turn to be the grand father and let you know of this Worther's Original. Not funny. Of course, this show is only general admission but it will put some at rest. www.nbotickets.com Thanks Kristofor

Not worried just have that bad vibe that I may get shut out on the public sale. After seeing them there last summer and the strong word of mouth of the venue, this should be a hot ticket in town. Kristofor -

Hello, Boston I got section 2 row EE and Section 3 row K. I had Section 1 row W first but I let them go. Still nothing for the Pines. Kristofor -
Hey, Um yeah .......i am definitely bored before I go to an 830 Grindhouse. Upon further review I noticed the lack of some of my favorites. 2 setlists and no "epics". So only way to fix that is to do a 3rd one. Sue me if I use some songs from 1 & 2. I'll try not to. Hey, I'm just extra excited over here since I live in NH and get to see Wilco twice in MA this June. Keep those setlists coming, I may use most of those for my own iTunes playlists. A little something different than the live shows we are so lucky to have. Anyways, here it goes...let the obnoxiousness continue : In A Future

Hey Everyone, I couldn't resist a "night 2" setlist. Luckily Wilco is a band that has diversity and surprises in the setlist. I don't think I've seen 2 the same. Well here is my silly 2nd night setlist : Shake It Off I'm The Man Who Loves You Nothing'sEverGonnaStandInMyWay (Again) A Magazine Called Sunset Pieholden Suite The Late Greats Say You Miss Me Pot Kettle Black How To Fight Loneliness Hate It Here I Must Be High Blue Eyed Soul Too Far Apart Monday Outtasite (Outta Mind) I'm A Wheel Heavy Metal Drummer Casino Queen What's The World Got In Store ----------------------------------

Hello Everyone, I love these posts, since I find it hard to make the perfect Wilco mix tape. Part of that is what they decide to play live. So the songs I haven't heard live in the last 3 years sound off in my mix cds. Anyone else feel that way ? Either Way You Are My Face Hotel Arizona I Am Trying To Break Your Heart ELT Company In My Back She's A Jar War On War Walken Theologians Someday Soon Airline To Heaven Remember The Mountain Bed Secret Of The Sea I'm Always In Love Jesus, Etc. Hello, I would like to throw in my .02 cents. I spoke to John Stirratt after The Autumn Defense show last Tuesday in Cambridge, MA. I gave a short review of it and I forgot to mention something he mentioned. I told him I loved Sky Blue Sky and asked him what plans were in store after the release of Sky Blue Sky. He told me to expect the next record sooner than you think. I gave him a double whammy of a baffled face and "R E A L L Y ?!!" He said "yeah." I believe John and the whole point of this post. John also mentioned that Wilco would be in the North East in June. I wouldn't come on her

Hello Everyone, Well, I waited around and spoke to John after tonight's amazing show. They came on around 11pm and played until 1230. Anyways I talked to John about the record and told him I thought it was amazing and thanks for the stream. Asked when Wilco would be stopping by. He said Wilco will be in Boston in June and I said "huh"......he than told me that June was going to get Northeast shows. Now during The Singleman Affair's set Pat Sansone told me that a Wilco tour wouldn't be until the fall. I would like to go with John's answer for obvious reasons. Anyways I will put up a mor

Songs played live recently that didn't make the cut
u2roolz replied to Saut Crapaud's topic in Just A Fan
Hey, Here's a question does anyone have a link to the picture/article from Q late last year with the "rumoured" song titles for Sky Blue Sky. I'm curious if there's anything that is listed that didn't make it besides the obvious live tracks mentioned here. Same goes with Wilcoworld on the news page before it changed to the "probable" sequence. They listed possible songs on the new record. I am positive there is one song that is not on the record or been played live that was mentioned. Thanks Kristofor PS Here is how the new songs came about (thanks to WilcoBase) : 1. Walken Sept 6, -
Wilco played May 4, 2005 - May 7, 2005 at The Vic in Chicago. It is firmly believed that none of these shows were recorded by fan tapers. Obviously due to this being recorded by Wilco for Kicking Television. Pretty easy question to answer, Kristofor PS I'm not 100 % sure if folks on here narrowed down which night say A Shot In The Arm was played or what have you. Some people might have tried back in the day (Nov 05).

Hello Everyone, Ever since I saw it open the first Chicago November show, I believe Shake It Off would kick ass as the opener. Well, I'll have to check my iTunes playlist for the new Wilco songs. The order I put them in sounds good. Not too worried about the song order. I'm just curious if we get all 18 songs. Or maybe 2 albums. One spring. One fall. This is just my thinking. It is not a rumour. Kristofor

Hey, I'm coming from MA/NH. I got Row N both nights. Satisfied. Thanks, Kristofor PS My mother got the ticket for night 2, not me because of the whole "wait 10 minute thing." Good thing I called her.

Hey, I plan on seeing both shows. I am coming from the MA/NH area. I ALMOST went to see them in IN at Purdue but found out about these shows the day before. This is a much better deal and gives me more time to spend in a city I've never been to. Anyways, Kristofor PS Anyone else think that these shows might be filmed ?

Hello Everyone, I just got a call from my best friend's little brother who attended the show tonight. He said it was a very emotional show and somber. A different vibe than what he's seen before. We send out our prayers to Jeff and his family. He said the set was very similar to Lollapalooza except Let's Fight was dropped. Opened with A Shot In The Arm Impossible Germany -the rest of the set is out of order- I Am Trying To Break Your Heart The Late Greats Via Chicago War On War Jesus, Etc. Heavy Metal Drummer Walken I'm The Man Who Loves You Hummingbird - closed the main set In A Fut

Hello, I am from the Boston area and I will be in fact heading to this show. This marks my 10th Wilco show in 3 years and I've seen Jeff Tweedy solo once. I have also been lucky enough to meet with Jeff and the band after the show(s) on 4 different occasions. I am looking forward to seeing them so close to Chicago. Anyways, Kristofor

Hello, Thanks for the 9-19-03 show............. It hasn't left my cd player since last week. Very pleased with the sound. The setlist is phenomenal. Thanks, Kristofor

Hello, I was thinking about these 2 shows and wondering why in the hell I never had them. If some kind person would PM me with these or somehow. I know I was supposed to post a couple of versions of Kamera and Pot Kettle Black from the A Ghost Is Born tour.........but I can't really figure out how to post a hyperlink to it. Or the yousendit way. I'm a film man not a computer connoiseur. Thanks, Kristofor

Hello, If some kind caring citizen would explain to me how to put a file into the message board, I will certainly put up Kamera and Should've Been In Love. Thank you for clearing this up with me, Kristofor PS Here's to some "new" old songs in October.

Hey everyone, Well, I am trying to make a VERY nice iTunes playlist of every song I have from the 2004-2006 A Ghost Is Born/Kicking Television tour. I am missing this amazing song and I don't ever remember this show being seeded back in the day (aka a year ago). Also, does anyone know of a recording of the 7/1/04 Paris show with Why Would You Want To Live ? Thanks, Kristofor PS If you do have it, I have 2 live versions of Should've Been In Love from 2/05 for a little trade. Anyone think of any other rare songs from this tour ? I already have more than a few versions of Pot Kettl

Damn. I completely forgot this show started at 630pm.....because I have Will Call tix. Anyways, I'm picking up friends for this show and not leaving my area until 6. Roughly 1.5 - 2 hour drive. Hopefully by 8 Wilco won't be on yet. But it'll cut it close. Do you really think Wilco will come out between 745-800 to start the show? It will be light out and I don't know I think it's a tough call. I know with it being outdoors there has to be a sound curfew for a Sunday night. And if the M's do come on promptly at 630-715, they won't want to get the crowd anxious. I don't know I am just super n
