I always liked Michael Ian Black and Adam Scott for Glenn. I'm pretty sure that they've been on this thread before.

If you had posted this this morning, you could have found hotel rates for as low as $15.

There's quite a few very nice videos from last night's T-Bone Burnett Speaking Clock Revue on youtube. My father said that the first 2 hours of the show was everyone except for Elton & Leon. They came out after the intermission and played for about 45 minutes. They did 7 songs off of The Union and had no special guests from the large lineup during their set. Edit: Correction. Gregg Allman came out for Gone To Shiloh to do Neil Young's part. That video is also on youtube. I think Mellencamp and Costello were together for a bit. And on one of the youtube videos already posted, Gregg Allman

2010 MLB - Playoffs and hot stove!
u2roolz replied to Duck-Billed Catechist's topic in Tongue-Tied Lightning
You certainly got that right. ?? -
Whichever version you choose, I demand some sort of royalties. Speaking of a VCer's live performance on youtube: has anyone ever done a thread for that? That's something that I'd like to see, instead of hearing music. I understand that most youtube videos would not do most bands justice, but sometimes it's nice to see how a band or solo artist controls the stage.

I'm only joking on one of these.

2010 MLB - Playoffs and hot stove!

Dear Texas Rangers, You destroyed C.C. Sabathia who also had a so-so game vs. the Twins a week ago. Don't be discouraged. If any AL team can beat the 2010 Yankees in a 7 game series it is you guys. Your Fenway Friend.... -
I've seen Elton with his percussionist Ray Cooper at UMass Amherst's small venue way back in 1993. He played a lot of rarities and was still amazing to see in that type of setting. Don't forget that if your cable provider carries Fuse tune in on Tuesday night to watch Elton & Leon's concert from NYC. It is supposed to run for 2 hours, so it may be the whole show. I'm not 100% sold that they are actually airing it because today they had the "Sexiest Videos" and something called "Eminem Takeover" that ran for like 12 hours. I'm not entirely sure how those 2 guys fit into their programm

anyone ever watch a band record a record as it happens on ustream?
u2roolz replied to MeDave's topic in Someone Else's Song
Not really. Although, I did watch U2 on their webcam during the recording of their POP album. I'm not sure if it was my computer setup at the time or what, but there was no sound. It was kind of strange wondering what tracks that they were recording. -
My general assumption is that if you are standing up then the side of the cd is facing the front. 4. Do not use a comma to set off a because clause A because clause needs to be set off by a comma only when it begins a sentence. Here are some reminders about when to use a comma with a because clause. 2. Do not use a comma before a "because" clause that follows a main clause. Example: The company's stock fell, because the owner was arrested for embezzling retirement funds. Here the main clause (The company's stock fell) begins the sentence. No comma is needed between the main cla

I can email them to you. Did hitting return after every sentence bother you? Making everything look like this. Edit: Seriously, all of the "this person must be high on drugs" because their humor tends to veer off into the absurd is getting tired. I have never done drugs. I'm pretty sure that people got the joke from the very title of this thread. I'm sure that you got the joke, but didn't want to partake in it. Fine with me. The "you have to grow up" bit was just that: a joke. Someone who started a thread like this and telling someone else that they should grow up is funny. Of course,

This thread was started as a satiric response to all of the recent "Album(s) This & That" threads that we've seen in the past 2 weeks for whatever reason. But it does make you think about what 3 albums that you would want to listen to forever. Just because a person asks you a question that you are uncomfortable with doesn't make them high or foreign. You have a lot of growing up to do, man.

Alright, good luck then whistling tunes in your afterlife or finding an iTunes store. I'm not really sure how that would work. Would you need to bury a credit card with you too? Death is not an emergency. Of course, you can't play music via your bum bum while you are alive. That was stated already in the first post. I think the person that made this amazing discovery came from Des Moines, Iowa. This would all make for a very strange and bizarre George Romero film.

If you feel uncomfortable about putting cds into your bum bum, there's always the undertaker that can take care of it. That's what they are there for. If you trust them. Otherwise, we'd all be like Christopher Walken in Pulp FIction because no one knows the day. Unless, if you feel the "big one" coming on and you grab your arm in pain then reach through your cd collection. Just clearing up some confusion.

That was on the If God Will Send His Angels cd single: WIllie Nelson. Then there's just the U2 version on the Stay/ I've Got You Under My Skin cd single. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bPuzGSdWgMA&feature=related Don't forget that Bob Dylan was on Love Rescue Me and Hawkmoon 269.

An unnamed source said that the next plane of existence is sensitive to the laser on a cd, thus playing it. For sure, I would have guessed that the vibrations of the next plane of existence would work well for playing a 7 incher. I'm not sure about flipping it over to the B-side. This isn't Lost. We are talking about preparation H. H as in hereafter. Preparation as in preparing what you will bring with you. How many people do you know of that travel on planes with 3 cds in their bum bum?

2010 MLB - Playoffs and hot stove!
u2roolz replied to Duck-Billed Catechist's topic in Tongue-Tied Lightning
Ah. So the Twins can lose in 4 games next year to the Yankees. -
I'm not sure really. I can't think of anything past When Love Comes To Town, Miss Sarjevo, Slow Dancing & The Saints Are Marching. All of which are easily findable on any U2 Best Of compilation. I'm guessing there will be some tunes that feature Bono with some artists. It's too bad that I can't find a wiki link with this search query.

What is the opposite of tone deaf?

OK. You just found out that there is life after death. And word on the news wire is that your bum bum is a music player. While writing your last will and testament, which 3 cds do you put aside to go up there for simple storage and listening pleasure for eternity. U2 - Achtung Baby (not the digipak version, although maybe that would be more comfortable? I'm not sure if you feel pain? Hmm) Wilco - Being There The Arcade Fire - The Suburbs I'll see you on the other side. Or the backside... {I'm not really 100% sure on the whole headphones thing. I think the music gets piped directly
