  1. The best part of the book is Kidsmoke being named in the acknowledgements.

    :lol :blush

I liked the book and know that a lot of research effort & hours went into it. Chapter 10 is a good one. :thumbup

  2. the one week rule should be implemented for MP3s of new songs too :thumbup

Yeah, that's only reasonable since they are from whatever taper captured that particular night. But oh, isn't patience a bitch when it comes to hearing the new ones! :lol

Try to give it a few days, people. B)

  3. :lol Somebody obviously had a great time at this concert! :rock

Don't worry, Jimcamel, it's likely to turn up soon, but as the previous two posters have pointed out, it's considered rude to ask about a taped show until at least a week has passed, since tapers have lives too, and also need time to work on their recordings before sharing them with the rest of us lucky and appreciative listeners. :wub

Try to be patient & good things will surely come your way. :thumbup

  4. you really should! i've never been in elliott, but i hear the acoustics are great. plus, you could then make the short trip to lansing friday night. or, who knows? maybe there will be a chi-town one in between the two??? :omg

it would be amazing to meet in person the great girl who keeps our favorite band's forum interesting and informative! :worship

You, my dear, are a sweetheart. :cheekkiss

  5. did anyone capture the webcast? my brother went to the show last night and couldn't have been more excited when i told him the show was webcast. he actually got to meet jeff tweedy after the show too said he was a relly cool guy just kind of tired lol

How cool! I'm sure Jeff was gracious as always, but his leg was probably killing him! :unsure

WilcoWorld will be putting the webcast up in its "Roadcase' in the next few days, so you & your brother can look forward to that. :cheers I'm sure a taping of the show will emerge before long also.

  6. I'm going to have to respectfully disagree. I thought The Late Greats ended tonight's show perfectly. A good, quick little pop song to wrap things up nicely.

Yeah, it packs a good little power-pop rock 'n roll punch. I loved it tonight. :rock

  7. If I did win the contest, Donna, I pass my shows to Kalle (new favorite Wilco fan).

    goodnite all...Happy 4th !!!!

That's very sweet of you, parisisstale! :cheekkiss Kalle, you will be receiving two live Wilco shows of your choice, since parisisstale, our winner, has generously offered to pass his winnings on to you!

    I'll pm you soon, Kalle!

'Night everybody! That was a blast! :thumbup

Sorry....I think I lapsed into some impossible german there....

  9. I haven't gotten anything done that I was supposed to, tonight. Ask me if I care. :P

    Not even a tiny bit.

I'd rather be sitting here with my friends with a huge grin on my face and screaming at my computer. Happily. :D

    I love you guys. :wub

  10. Jeff......over here!!!!! :)

    Forget the Flowers

You're trying my patience, try pink carnations

    Red roses and yellow daffodils

Don't forget the flowers, someday, I know you will

Displayers of affection and all good intentions,

Why don't you just send me the bill

Don't forget the flowers, someday, I know you will

    Lately you've been taking me

    Way too seriously, oooh

    I can't ever explain why

I don't feel your pain, oooh

I left you behind, I know it's been a long time

    But I'm not over you

Don't forget the flowers, someday, I hope I do
