Thanks for the info! I also added Each And Every Day, Poor Myleena, and Winter Song form the "Stay Golden, Smog: The Best Of Golden Smog - The Ryko Years" CD with bonus tracks. I don't have this album and haven't heard the tracks, so I can't confirm Jeff's involvement. can anyone confirm this?

I agree. I hope the Nudie Suit pictures make it onto the back or inside!

No real need. The Woody Guthrie Foundation did it already: http://www.woodyguthrie.org/Lyrics/Jolly_Banker.htm Even a nice link to the Wilco download!

Long shot: If you just want to see it, try your library. If they don't have it, they might be able to get it inter-library loan. Or, get it directly from the Woody Guthrie Archives: http://woodyguthrie.org/mm5/merchant.mvc?S...tegory_Code=DV5 $26. Looks like its available too.

I'm surprised no one's mentioned BR549! Love them. I've seen them twice. Once with Gary Bennett and once since he left the band in 2001. Great, real. country music, if you ask me. Haven't heard any of their more recent albums though.

Here's a short article about it: http://www.nme.com/news/u2/41303

I think they just shelved them. "The Saints are Coming" and "Window in the Sky" came out of those sessions, or a pre-curser to those sessions. And I LOVE "Window in the Sky." Phenomenal song. I'd like to hear more of what they can do with different producers.

Hilarious. This is good too. Last night's episode was pretty good. I love the fact that you always see everyone playing freecell on their PCs.

This had me rolling! I agree, mostly. The verses are fine, I just can't stand the chorus. And that annoying falsetto part. Too long of a title. Like "Sometimes You Can't Make It On Your Own" and "Stuck in a Moment You Can't Get Out Of"

I did just that last night, played the Pop tracks next to the "Best Of" mixes. I have to say, 7 years ago, I would have disagreed with you, but now I totally agree. Yeah, I miss not seeing ZooTv, but I was only 17/18 at the time and would have been totally impractical considering that didn't make it to Indiana. they didn't hit the Hoosier state with Popmart either and I'm still kicking myself for not trying to get tickets for the Chicago shows. But I was just finishing college and starting grad school and totally broke. I made it to the Elevation tour, however! 3 times! Had to make up f

I'm with you man. I'm saving my pennies for the box set, but I just can't do it now. I was hoping for some birthday cash to swing it, but alas, the mailbox was empty.

Love the song, but not the performance. The guitar sounded like it was coming out of a hole. And not in a good way. I hope they do an interview segment with each of the members of the band before the week's over.

Don't forget about the spring of 5 nights on Letterman, starting tonight.

It's serious. They've been talking about it for a few years. I'm a big U2 fan and was a comics fan as a kid, but I'm really apprehensive about this. they have some experience with the stage, with their work on the score for the Royal Shakespeare Company's production of "A Clockwork Orange" The only part of that to surface is "Alex Descends into Hell for a Bottle of Milk / Korova 1" from "The Fly" single.

That's some solid pop music. I like it!
-
.....hum, yes, I think you are. Is that an official video or a fan made one? I've never seen it before. And u2roolz, just be glad this hasn't turned into one of those "Bono sucks!" threads.

Thanks. And I stand corrected. Some of his books are on Amazon.com, so maybe you will e able to buy them in "brick and mortar" stores too.

Cool. i have a couple of similar books about U2. I have another one about Kurt Vonnegut. They're always interesting candid reads. EDIT: Just checked out that web site. LULU is a self publishing company. I wonder the legal logistics behind acquiring these interviews from their original publishers. Oh well, that's for them to figure out. It does mean that you won't be able to walk into your local bookstore or big box store and buy this.
