Right, your IP address that you watch from, not that you order from. Last year I used MLB.tv both from my place in Chicago and at my mom's in suburban Detroit. Couldn't get Sox or Cubs games here, couldn't get Tigers games there.

I can understand why it wouldn't seem fair. But black people are still at a disadvantage as a direct result of slavery, Jim Crow, etc. and that sure as hell doesn't seem fair either.

I used it last year and it was great. Seriously.
-
Is this what Rev. Wright was doing? Self-promoting?
-
Incidentally, I don't really care for MMJ and really don't like Band of Horses, but I think the Fleet Foxes EP is great.
-
The Cardinals? Are you serious? I'd almost wager money that they'll be below .500 this year. Probably no better than third (behind Chicago and Milwaukee) in that division.
-
No, teams can't play someone from the same division in the divisional series.

I have a hard time evaluating the Mets. Johan obviously helps a lot, but the rest of their rotation is a big fat question mark. The bullpen looks decent up front but is shallow. David Wright and Reyes but other than Beltran I really don't know about the rest of the offense -- Delgado is on the decline and no one else really excites me much.

Nah, it's flawed. I just think there isn't a really dominant team in the NL, so I guessed which decent-but-flawed team would come out on top. And then guessed that they'll get lucky against a superior team in the WS. It's just guessing.

This is sort of long but I think well worth reading:

This is great. From Deadspin.

Yeah, somehow I won the regular season (lost the first round of the playoffs) in that 9x9 league last year, but I still have no idea what the hell I'm doing. It all feels like blind luck. There's just too many categories to try to balance.

Last year he played 133 games for Pawtucket, where he went .282/.363/.471 with 16 homers, 78 RBI and 66 runs scored. He played 99 games in right field, 13 in centerfield, 11 in left, 5 at first base and 5 at DH.

Someone rate my draft.
-
Hell yes you can count that one.
-
Coleman Young and Dennis Archer had their names on that water tower too. There's a whole lot of real reasons to criticize Kwame. Can't say I agree with that one.
-
Yep. Two regular season games in Japan. Then exhibition games in L.A. It's a stupid plan so don't hurt your brain too badly trying to figure it out.
-
Bye bye, Kwame.
-
I'm digging it a lot actually. It's not as catchy but a lot more textured and I think will have more staying power than their first album.

My point was just that at the rate that the market has been going in baseball over the last few years, even if it looks like they're overpaying right now, the market might be paying a player of his caliber $25mil/year by the middle of the contract, so from that perspective its a good deal for the Tigers.
