  1. I can't at all explain why, but this makes me want to listen to Ryan Adams' Jacksonville City Nights.
  2. I made my list a while back, but the Drive-By Truckers' New Year's Eve show at Terminal 5 should be on there somewhere. Absolutely killer.

  5. The Best Banter From Jeff Tweedy's Show at the Lincoln Theatre
  6. Then I don't feel so bad for him after all. That was such a great show (and the night AGIB clicked for me).
  7. I guess my being short actually paid off at a concert for once.
  8. Not much surprises me, but I was definitely shocked to hear Give Back the Key to My Heart. The whole setlist was amazing. And I'm still laughing about the segue story. And the "times are tough all over" line after someone said the show was the best Christmas present. There was so much hilarious banter at these shows. I was in the row behind her. That was ridiculous. At one point she flipped off the guy behind her, but it wasn't just a quick flash; she actually held her hand up for like half a minute. I felt kinda bad for the guy she was with. He was simultaneously trying to defend her whi
  9. I was in the balcony so I could obviously hear the rustling/commotion, but I didn't know that was what was going on. WTF?
  10. When I bought tickets, I saw somewhere (can't remember where) that the show was going to be from 8 to 11. And when I was entering the venue tonight, I heard someone ask one of the employees what time the show would end, and he said 11. Wonder what the deal was. Either way, great show. And some priceless banter.
  11. I work nights so it's pretty hard for me to go to more than two shows in a row. But in September I did five shows in four days. Four nights of Pavement plus a late Basia Bulat show. But it kind of seems like cheating to use the same band four times.
  12. Got my tickets today! They look very... un-ticket-like. Just an observation; I'm just glad to finally have them.
  13. I can't believe these still haven't shipped. I'm guessing they won't go out today, so that means they'll be shipped Monday at the earliest. And considering it took five days door-to-door to get my D.C. tickets, this makes me super nervous.
  14. Great show in Philly last night. Wish I'd gone to more than one show on the tour.
  15. That's the only ticket choice I had for the presale, so it looks like it is.
  16. Wilco's site doesn't list any on-sale information. (I feel slightly crazy now. Where did I get the 3rd from?)
  17. Does anyone know when the D.C. presale is? I thought I saw Nov. 3, but now I can't find that anywhere.
  18. Cerberus Shoal opened. I don't know why I remember that. (Maybe because they were so terrible?)
  19. Excellent! So does that pretty much mean there won't be a second Bowery show added for Sunday, as some people speculated (and I assumed would happen)? (Can't see him doing five days in a row.)
