Actually, this is a question I recently brought to the attention of the director of Jay's new documentary. I believe KATPA was released on CD, but WHIA was only available on Rockproper. Now it seems like the owner of that site pulled the plug, which means that Jay's final two albums aren't available anymore. In my opinion, this is a great time to add those albums (and perhaps some others) to Bandcamp. Potential revenues from these downloads can go to the JB Foundation or any other charity. In the end, it's a decent record and it definitely deserves to be heard.

What is this "MSG Presale" I keep reading about?

Oh man, in the first 20 seconds I got the message that they were unable to find 2 tickets next to each other, after that all tickets were reserved. Bummer. So, when does the next batch go on sale? Tomorrow?

I heard last week that they're probably coming back to Europe in July. For what it's worth.

My gf and I are planning a trip to NYC around her 30th birthday on March 18, so it's needless to say I'm stoked about the Beacon Theatre announcement. However, I'm afraid it will be tough to get tickets. Any advice for a Dutch kid who never visited the States so far - or is it just a matter of logging in to the presale site and pray for the best?

As someone somewhat close to the matter, I have to say that early album leaks rarely happen these days. Don't know if that's due to safety precautions, or the 'music scene' just losing interest in taking the effort. Lately, I've only seen pre-release leaks from bands who decided to send out early mp3 copies to those who preordered the album. Which definitely isn't the case with Schmilco. By the way, 9/9 is going to be an insane release day.

Any fellow-VC'ers planning to visit this?

It was definitely available on Tidal and Qobuz. And if I remember correctly, it was also freely available on iTunes.

Star Wars dropped on July 16th, but the CD wasn't released until the end of August (and the vinyl came two months later). That official tweet tells me something's in the air..
