  1. Hey Donna, great to see we share a common love for Basia Bulat! Would've seen her last month in Amsterdam and Brussels, if not for the damn pandemic.. Also highly favorable: Jenny Lewis, Christine Fellows, Kathleen Edwards, Dawn Landes, Meg Baird, Phoebe Bridgers, Amy Millan, Molly Rankin (Alvvays) and Lili Trifilio (Beach Bunny).
  2. Ah, they're getting into Roadcase territory now - there were at least 6 shows released from that particular month. Hopefully next month they'll dig a little deeper in the vaults.
  3. I hope this documentary and the RSD Palace vinyl reissue somehow triggers some sort of process to make Jay's last two albums more widely available. I know Kicking At The Perfumed Air got a limited CD release, but Whatever Happened, I Apologize was only available on RockProper - a website that has been taken offline long ago. Would be great to have those albums available on streaming services or Bandcamp.
  4. Probably true - I removed the Amazon link. However, I find it surprising that streaming services apparently do not differentiate between official releases and bootlegs...
  5. Looks like this is the same recording that has been available for quite some time now, both on CD and streaming services: https://www.deezer.com/en/album/11684506 Edit: I see that the new vinyl has a couple of extra tracks (Grindstone / Anodyne / High Water / Whiskey Bottle). Interesting..

I must admit that I've never heard of her as well (shame on me!), but that is a pretty decent cover!
  7. Just compare Can't Stand It (from 0:38) to Locator (from 1:00).
  8. Just noticed that the bass lines are nearly identical. Mind blown.
  9. Great initiative, but the quality of that Vimeo stream is horrendous. The big news, however, can be found halfway the accompanying article:
  10. Anyone know if there’ll be a digital 24-bit release? Haven’t been able to find it on Qobuz (only 16-44.1) and HDTracks (no OTJ at all) yet.
  11. So the digital release includes the bonus track, and Qobuz has a 24-bit version. Nice surprise.
  12. It's not really about receiving physical items from NZ though. Because of timezones, Tidal NZ is the first major streaming site to show new releases. Basically, it's a perfect guide to see what's coming to Tidal EU/US a couple of hours later
  13. Did anyone receive the CD set yet? I got an e-mail from Amazon DE that delivery is delayed until August 16th. So I cancelled it and placed a new order in the Wilco EU store. By the way, it's Friday July 19th in New Zealand and there's still no Warmer on Tidal NZ.
  14. A couple of months ago, various sources mentioned July 12 as the official date of release (both physical and digital). www.thelineofbestfit.com/news/latest-news/jeff-tweedy-announces-official-release-of-warmer-record/amp Would be a real letdown if there wasn’t an option for non-US residents to buy the 2CD-set without spending $40 on shipping costs..
  15. Any updates? Now I'm curious too.
  16. Let's call in the King Of Europe, shall we? Just kidding. Only Dutch dates for me this year, unfortunately..
  17. Wow. That's at least half an album of unreleased material. Bring it on already, mr. Tweedy!
  18. I remember "Why Why Why" being part of the Tweedy live set during their 2014 tour. And strangely, compared to the digital edition, the physical disc contains shorter versions of the songs.
  19. I believe I was the first one to mention the A.M./Being There reissues on Twitter and ViaChicago, but I can't find any clues for a Summerteeth and/or YHF reissue... yet. There is, however, this listing on the Danish site where I discovered last year's reissues: https://www.imusic.dk/lp/0075597928815/wilco-2018-wilco-lp-vinyl Let the speculation begin...
  20. http://www.superdeluxeedition.com/news/r-e-m-at-the-bbc-9-disc-box-set/
  21. Right now it would be: 6 > 3 > 5 > 1 > 2 > 7 > 8 > 4 > 9 > 10 (Steely Dan covers)
  22. Also, you can make your old amp Airplay compatible by plugging an Airport Express into the 3.5mm port. Even the old model has an audio port, and nowadays you can easily pick one up from Craigslist or eBay for less than 50 dollars.
