I saw Bon Iver in 2006. -
http://www.ilike.com/artist/Beck/songs I think this will be in stores before the July 8th expected release date....

I've only heard their most recent, and, despite a shitty P4K review, I can wholeheartedly recommend it. If you like the New Pornographers, you'll really like Re-Arrange Us.

whoa -- that's a surprise! They're from Madison, WI

Yeah, it was headed there for me on name alone. Checking it out now...

Album is great. If you're a fan, you'll love it. I also think this release will capture a wider audience, not in the selling out way, but just because he's finally got lots of good press and a tour behind him.

http://www.muzzleofbees.com/2008/06/17/rev...e-hall-madison/ Had a great time in Madison as well. Could have done without the violin solo - not that it wasn't good, just poorly placed in their set list. LOVED the Frames tracks.

This sucks. Read his book Big Russ and Me - then buy or give a copy to your own father. I don't pay much mind/attention to journalists, but Russert was above the grain for me.

Using their past MMJ reviews as a benchmark (Tennessee Fire fared best with an 8.0), all of their albums hover in the low 7.0's. That somewhat puts their numerical ranking in order I guess.

I was pissed at missing the National. Thankfully, I've seen them so many times that I wasn't too upset.
