what should i be listening to from Low's catalog to get ready for the upcoming shows? are they playing all newer stuff or a mix. i am completely unfamiliar with Low's music so any guidance would help. was at that show...it was awesome

Half way through the first listen of this. In all honesty, my initial thoughts are that this is a piece of trash.

"Conquest" cracks me up. It is more Spinal Tap than Spinal Tap.

listened to this (got the preorder, sorry just the stream) and hate to say that im disappointed but its just okay in my opinion, though i can see it as a grower. dan bejars three songs are all excellent though (i think id prefer a new destroyer album at this point).

i actually detest that venue, ive only been there once but its little to "livenationy" for my taste. ill probably end up at this show anyway seeing as ill be in town that weekend.

from what i recall it actually isnt a danelectro (though it looks like one) there is a thread about that 12 string somewhere with the name of the luthier (its not made by any major guitar company)

i havent heard this record yet but am dissapointed that it isnt jammier. i LOVED that Henry Rollins show performance and would love to hear an epic, jammy, Ryan record (jammier than CR which is imo, ryan's best record to date). either way am i still pumped to go home and oink this tonight.
