I have seen Jesse speak in public twice and while he may or may not be a great reverend - though one should not forget him getting some POWs freed from Bosnia and somewhere else, I think - the man is one hell of a preacher. Puts Sharpton to shame. -

Presidential candidate Obama to sponsor Cup car at Pocono race Bill Frakes/SI SI.com has learned that for the first time in history, a major presidential candidate may sponsor a race car in NASCAR's premier series. According to sources, Barack Obama's campaign is in talks to become the primary sponsor of BAM Racing's No. 49 Sprint Cup car for the Pocono race on August 3. Should Obama be elected, I think he's going to be able to maybe get away with one truly liberal initiative, and he will have to decide whether that's health care reform or energy policy. If the Saudis do ramp up production to torpedo alternative energy again, that might make his decision simpler.

I think Jesse's irkedness is a parallel to the irkedness a lot of Hillary supporters felt - the "where the hell did this guy come from and who the hell does he think he is" syndrome. -
