    Let me ask everyone here - do you REALLY want someone as president who is and has been so certain of his own judgment and the principles he or she bases that upon that he or she never changes his or her mind on anything? In the Bjorn Book, if you are so stupid that you cannot change your mind based on new information and improved reasoning, then you are f unqualified to be an ice cream man (woman), much less president. Sheesh. We have a lot of shit bass-ackward in this society, yes we do.

    I would think this is a case of Obama having a fuck-ton of money and wanting to have every bit of it to use against McCain. He may need it - I would not be surprised if this is the nastiest election since Lincoln-McClellan.

    I really must point out that Chernobyl was a horribly designed and run nuclear power plant. It didn't even have a containment dome, which is why radiation was spewed everywhere when it melted down, due to a chain of really stupid mistakes on the parts of its operators. To say something like that can happen to a U.S.-built plant does not carry a lot of weight with me, which is why I get pissed at all the people who want to shut Indian Point down.

    Depleted uranium munitions, for one, and building more nukes, which we can do now, may well have a quicker impact on greenhouse gas emissions than using what we use now while we develop a wind-solar base energy system, which will probably take 20 years, optimistically.
