I will try to get a picture of her. I can see a certain resemblance.

That's why I think you have a branch of your family out in this valley. And I have no idea who is making more Bartons. Certainly not me!

Awww. I hope your kitty is better soon.

Nah. He either would not take or flunked a physical, according to the NY media. Shoulder is apparently bad. I would not mind seeing Castro given a shot at being the full-time catcher.

I don't usually like to correct other people (for free) but I will say that Giuliani also ran the Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens and Staten Island, and Romney was governor of Massachusetts, not Utah. The Mormon thing probably threw you off. I like Obama fine, but I am not inspired by him particularly. I was inspired by Jesse Jackson a couple of times. Guy's a great public speaker.

Did we not sign Eckstein? I know we did not sign Yorvit, which is OK with me, and Glavine is reunited with the Braves.

The Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde with Spencer Tracy in it is one of the best things ever.

Eh, f Barry Bonds. He had supernal talent, but wanted more and did a deal with the devil. He richly deserves all of the scorn and infamy he has coming to him.

Burlington is nice.

I kind of regret not going to the fair this year to see all of the old farm equipment. Now that was equipment.

I can't really figure it out either. MySpace is OK, even though it seems, in essence, like an unreliable way to send people e-mail. And maybe get laid - I have heard stories, but I can't find that function on my page.

That would fall under the category of "few things." Unless she has a "crab nebula."

Then there was the summer of 1985, when, after a rather embarrassing incident, I was called "Bjorn O'Wank."

God, I hope so. It isn't up to the standards of my other Internet content. If Facebook wants it better, they can pay me.

They sent us a copy of New York Doll to our office, I think.

There are few things cooler than looking at la luna through a nice backyard telescope.

I have a profile which I ignore, mostly.

Most, or many, people who like the Mets, it seems, like the Jets too. (A Brooklyn-Queens-L.I. thing, I reckon. Living upstate, those focused geographical links are not as strong. When I was a little kid, though, I lived next door to some ex-Brooklynites, and they had a lot to do with me being a Mets fan.) I have an affection for the Jets, and a guy with the same last name as mine plays for them, but my true passion is for the New York Football Giants. And yay, I suppose, for Yorvit. I will miss Paulie's meltdowns, though. Classic New York baseball redass-ism.

Hope you have an awesome birthday!

Heh. Keep up the good work!

Have you ever had to, or been tempted to, bust with the classic line, "Well, the world needs ditchdiggers too."

And what's he doing up so late on a school night? Doesn't high school start at like 4 in the morning or something?

This is all becoming very meta.

People should really read usernames more closely.
