The deal is that was the third rudest audience i've ever been a part of. Talking, moving and drinking are all expected at concerts. I was on the second and then third tier and the noise was unbearable at points making the music unlistenable (please be patient with me and ALTWYS come to mind). Throughout the venue there were large groups of people pushing everywhere i don't think I went through a song without getting shoved (not bumped). I am all for the atmosphere of a club but last night was like being at a bar with were some shitty local band is playing. I could care less if these

just herd boston for the first time the other day, loved the second set that Here Comes Sunshine onward is killer. I used to like RFK but feel a lot of it doesn't get "there" but its been a while. I don't know I'm not a big fan of 73 I guess but maybe i haven't heard the right show yet. I have 11-11 as well; any of those listed you think are better then the ones i mentioned?

Wilco on the red carpet?!?!? surprised to say the least.

again shaping people is not changing the world. the world envisioned in the songs is nothing like the world of today. they definitely had a positive impact and will continue you to but I don't call that changing the world. And in reply to Mountainbed no way would they have been the same. Probably would have kept singing silly love songs.

What did he play similar set? Who opened?

How did "Like A Rolling Stone" change the world? It might have made western rock music fans feel better about going out into this big old world but how did it change the world?

I find it humorous that he believed music could ever have "changed the world", correct me if I'm wrong but no song ever "changed the world. Sure music can help good ideas get out there and help people feel better about the world they live in; but change the world? On top of that the material he was expecting to make change was poorly produced and featured a godawful choir. That being said some of the songs are good but probably would have been served better by attacking them differently. I can't say doing a concert tour and charing astronomical prices does much for changing the world ei

No being politically active isn't bad. I that in desperate times like these we need desperate measures; same old democrat republican trade off isnt going to make this country a better place. Maybe its just me but I don't understand what is so different about Obama.

RFK was a great speaker and did some great things for this country, but he isn't golden. And I never said I was shocked during the event, i was only surprised they did it at all.

Does anyone have this one Promised Land, Sugaree, Cassidy, They Love Each Other, The Music Never Stopped, Brown Eyed Women, Lazy Lightning-> Supplication, Row Jimmy, Big River, Mission In The Rain, Looks Like Rain, Might As Well Samson & Delilah, Help On The Way-> Slipknot!-> Franklin's Tower-> Let It Grow-> Drums-> Friend Of The Devil, Playin' In The Band-> Dancin' In The Streets-> U.S. Blues was listening to it earlier, great High Time, actually they really knock the ballads out of the park here (mission in the rain, looks like rain) looking at that set

Because it wasn't genuine (the music that is), they don't even seem to like each other all that much anymore. On top of that they have always remained out of this kind of stuff. Whenever they had gotten political in the past they did what I'd call the right thing. Tell people to vote; not for who. By even playing the gig they are saying that there is some connection between them and the candidate and unless theyve been fooling us all this time they don't seem to be about the values of big government (don't give me this Obama is different stuff). In the past they played awareness events; n

The band sounded great, there wer technical difficulties that didn't make the show as enjoyable as it could have been (its hard to get sucked in when the audio gets really distorted every few min.) overall i was impressed. I will say that I think the event was soley politcal BS. I don't if it was just me but I didn't feel that "blood thicker then water" talk bob metioned. I think this event was tottally politically driven. Personally I think Phil went over board during the set break. Its so ridiciouls the way artists go around promoting politicans. I'm all for artists speaking "

That should be the correct response () but times have changed. I can't be nostalgic or knowledgeable since I wasn't around then but I can say you'd get the opposite response at most of these kind of things.
