  2. Missing from the lists! Sigur Ros Ageatis () Takk Hvarf/Heim Med I Elliott Smith Figure 8 From a Basement Beck Sea Change Guerro Modern Guilt
  3. I was there... Crowd was into it but I feel most were expecting more of Jeff at the show but I am not complaining as it was a great night!
  4. Ha you are seeing the ones I couldn't! Anyway you also may be seeing the E-Street Band too for the last time as it currently is. Enjoy it and report back here after the show! I will be living vicariously through reviews!
  5. Bob you going to the show!? I am jealous of anyone at this show! This was the one I was waiting for! I can't make it though I will need to hear this boot! Wow! Also...how can this album not be played in NEW JERSEY! The album was inspired by and written here, no?! I did have a good run as I now have heard, Born to Run, Darknes, The River and BITUSA live!
  6. Since there are so many on here that believe Radiohead have gone downhill or suck I will say my piece on Radiohead. Radiohead is better than Wilco (not by much though but Sky Blue Sky, W(TA) didn't help their cause in my book)! My three favorite bands are REM, Radiohead then Wilco! Radiohead are not overrated and deserve all the praise they get. Pablo Honey is awesome too!
  7. Heh it supposed to be blasphemy...in an aside I don't mind Guided by Voices I just don't get the hype!! If I believe correctly you hate REM post 87 and that is blasphemy to me
  8. I don't get Guided by Voices...I even seen them twice in concert (both festivals) and bought Bee Thousand and I think they are very overrated. Also NMH is too! Jeff Magnums voice grates me.... Also Toad the Wet Sprocket (Band name is dumb though) is freaking genius...and underrated! Brilliant songwritting... Bread and Circus their first album came out when Glen Phillips was 17! Pale and Fear are very solid and Coil was magnificient too! They still get heavy rotation in my collection.
  9. I like REM's Reveal, Around the Sun and Accelerate better than W(TA), Ghost and Sky Blue Sky.... PS I Still really like those Wilco albums but wish I could combine those 3 albums into 1.
  10. In the NYC area Wilco plays venues usually from 5,000-15,000 people..this summer they played at Keyspan Field which is 15,000 I think.
  11. AM is an awesome album! I would want them to go back to that style..WE NEED MORE LAPSTEEL, BANJO!
  12. Nice..I was at the show last night in Montclair, NJ and he was getting over a cold. He still belted out some wild notes! Guy can still sing! I enjoyed hearing his takes on the Who songs. Was a good night!
  13. REM-Autmatic Radiohead-The Bends Elliott Smith-XO Bjork-Post U2-Achtung Baby Hope I have a lot of batteries!
  14. I just booked! I stumbled upon a deal too good to pass up! I did book a package with hotel in Cusco but maybe I will spend the night in Aguas still...JFF what time of year did you go? Also how crowded does it get from the day trippers midday? Also how long did the climb take for Wanya Picchu?
  15. Thanks! Just the type of info I was looking for!
  16. Just looking for some pointers...Anyone go before? How many days did you spend in Cusco? Did you hike or take the train? Altitude sickness a problem? Any pointers would be appreciated!
  17. I loved Aerosmith when I was 9. Pump and Get a Grip were awesome. I saw them live on the Nine Lives tour and at the time I had fun. After that I stopped listening to them and starting listen to Wilco...rest is history as they say. As far as Tyler quitting I wonder if he was holding on until they did that show in Hawaii they got sued for. If he didn't do that show they would have owed $$$!
  18. I figured since I saw a nice post on WEISS I would post a review from the River show I went to last night. First the setlist 1. Wrecking Ball 2. Ties That Bind 3. Sherry Darling 4. Jackson Cage 5. Two Hearts 6. Independence Day 7. Hungry Heart 8. Out In the Street 9. CRUSH ON YOU 10. You Can Look (But You Better Not Touch) 11. I Wanna Marry You (Bruce and Patti slow dancing to Clarence's solo) 12. The River 13. Point Blank 14. Cadillac Ranch 15. I'm A Rocker (with Curt Ramm and Garry doing some backup vocals) 16. Fade Away ("For Steven!") 17. STOLEN CAR 18. Ramrod 19. The Price You Pay 20.
  19. That really must have been un"bear"able!
  20. Cool...Wishful Thinking! Glad you had a good time!
  21. Probably! She has the jean jacket look like John!
  22. I am all for things starting on time and not ending late. Yeah I may be only 29 but I get up for work at 6am. I hate shows in NYC that start 11pm on a weekday but I love live concerts! I go but am wrecked for the whole week because I get a few hours of sleep because I get home at 2am. I also like early starts and small down time because as stated by others I might bring my wife along and she has no patients so a smoth transition between bands with little downtime makes for a better time.
  23. I saw that and freaked! I just bought me two of the worst seats in the house at slightly over face (thanks ebay) at MSG for the River just to get in the door!! I wish I could make the Wild night but have a prior commitment! BUT WOW THE RIVER!!!!!!!!!!! PS bobfrombob I just noticed you are on the live daily Springsteen boards! Great minds think alike!
  24. Wow the setlist for Saturdays show was 40 songs long! How long a show was that?!
