  1. I have it on my ipod still but it just isn't gelling for me. Is there one specific track that I must hear? Maybe I will spin it again tomorrow.
  2. Do you mean Murmur? Hopefully you are talking about some other band I don't know of? I honestly couldn't make it through Bee Thousand. I sold it on ebay after a half a listen.
  3. I hear ya Matt....I also 9 times out 10 would rather see Tweedy solo then Wilco
  4. Yeah...looks bigger than I thought it would be...I would love to see a concert in Japan especially Wilco...When I went to Japan I missed Radiohead by a week! The only thing there when I was happened to be Dashboard Confessional

She looks like a high strung type of gal no?
  6. Uggh I only have two waffles left in the freezer..better go to the store soon!
  7. 100% agreed!!!! Think Tank Gorillaz Demon Days The Good, The Bad and The Queen Mali Music All very solid records!!
  8. Aww well enjoy Melbourne! Report back here after!
  9. Froggie glad you are getting some Wilco love down there! Try and go to the Brisbane show too! The wife and I had a great time there and I think you said you have not visited Brisbane before so it is worth the visit with a Wilco concert as a bonus!!! Anyway hope all is going well!
  10. I had a cheap seat at Giants Stadium in NJ and I was dead center not behind the band. They actually have full view seats at the $30 price but they are hard to get. If it plays into your decision at all they do move around to all areas of the stage and those seats behind the stage aren't 100% terrible.
  11. Aww good luck with the baby! Maybe the baby will come early and you will get a night off to recoup with some Wilco! Anyway best of luck! PS...wow tickets are expensive in Japan...the equivelent of $80 and they have a drink charge at the door! I wonder how big the venues there are!
  12. Great list Marjin! REM and Travis especially...how are the REM DVD Audio discs?
  13. COOL! I believe someone from this board was at the first ever show, no? Here is to another 15!!!!
  14. Forgot: Elbow: Asleep in the Back Cast of A Thosand Leader of the Free World Seldom Seen Kid Travis: The Man Who (might be 1999???) Invisible Band 12 Memories Boy With No Name Ode to J Smith
  15. Missing from the lists! Sigur Ros Ageatis () Takk Hvarf/Heim Med I Elliott Smith Figure 8 From a Basement Beck Sea Change Guerro Modern Guilt
  16. I was there... Crowd was into it but I feel most were expecting more of Jeff at the show but I am not complaining as it was a great night!
  17. Ha you are seeing the ones I couldn't! Anyway you also may be seeing the E-Street Band too for the last time as it currently is. Enjoy it and report back here after the show! I will be living vicariously through reviews!
  18. Bob you going to the show!? I am jealous of anyone at this show! This was the one I was waiting for! I can't make it though I will need to hear this boot! Wow! Also...how can this album not be played in NEW JERSEY! The album was inspired by and written here, no?! I did have a good run as I now have heard, Born to Run, Darknes, The River and BITUSA live!
  19. Since there are so many on here that believe Radiohead have gone downhill or suck I will say my piece on Radiohead. Radiohead is better than Wilco (not by much though but Sky Blue Sky, W(TA) didn't help their cause in my book)! My three favorite bands are REM, Radiohead then Wilco! Radiohead are not overrated and deserve all the praise they get. Pablo Honey is awesome too!
  20. Heh it supposed to be blasphemy...in an aside I don't mind Guided by Voices I just don't get the hype!! If I believe correctly you hate REM post 87 and that is blasphemy to me
  21. I don't get Guided by Voices...I even seen them twice in concert (both festivals) and bought Bee Thousand and I think they are very overrated. Also NMH is too! Jeff Magnums voice grates me.... Also Toad the Wet Sprocket (Band name is dumb though) is freaking genius...and underrated! Brilliant songwritting... Bread and Circus their first album came out when Glen Phillips was 17! Pale and Fear are very solid and Coil was magnificient too! They still get heavy rotation in my collection.
  22. I like REM's Reveal, Around the Sun and Accelerate better than W(TA), Ghost and Sky Blue Sky.... PS I Still really like those Wilco albums but wish I could combine those 3 albums into 1.
  23. In the NYC area Wilco plays venues usually from 5,000-15,000 people..this summer they played at Keyspan Field which is 15,000 I think.
  24. AM is an awesome album! I would want them to go back to that style..WE NEED MORE LAPSTEEL, BANJO!
