  1. I think 2 dates per most of those cities is ambitous! I wonder if he will play any Sigur Ros songs and what kind of backing band if any he will have?
  2. I lived in Hoboken for 3 years and Maxwells was a very big reason to stay in Hoboken. I probably saw 40 shows at Maxwells. It is always reasonable, intimate and a great energy room! I love the fact that there is no backstage and the band has to walk through to crowd to get to the stage. Were the Clash that unpopular in the USA in 1984 or was that a one off type of show? I thought they would be in a way larger venue by then!I would have loved to see them..just starting to get into them (I am very late to the game)
  3. I should have specified...I mean people seeing the band 2009 or so and up. Forgot about the Watt stuff.
  4. I wonder how many go to the Nels Cline Signers independently form knowledge of Wilco? I hate to say it but I am sure 99% are there because of his Wilco involvement.
  5. I saw Jude and I was 1 of 2 people! The previous gig I saw him at was opening for BEn Folds FIve in Central Park which thousands attended. I also saw Train opening for Pat Mcgee band maybe 30 people. Saw Colin Hay with about 50 people too...
  6. I just saw them in NYC! As always there live shows are a blast!
  7. 1. Being There 2. Summerteeth 3. Yankee 4. AM 5. Sky Blue 6. Ghost 7. Wilco
  8. Met all but Max from both lists! Glenn is the most easy going in my book. Although they are all friendly enough...Had some great conversations with Glenn.
  9. You are not alone. I would rank REM's worst album still about an 8 out of 10! I love Reveal, Around the Sun and Accelerate way more than Ghost is Born..I am sure I am the only one here in that aspect! Anyhoo
  10. Genesis played Land of Confusion whenI saw them on the reunion tour. I think they played it every night. Home by the Sea was a highlight for me at the show!
  11. I Thought I Held You..only played once live in 15 years!
  12. Those wouldn't be my picks but I am sure many here like them. I would pick 1. Someday Soon 2. ELT 3. Pot Kettle Black 4. Too Far Apart Those would be my short list for a top 4. Welcome to the board and enjoy the show! Report back here afterwords!
  13. It is scary how Limbaugh makes enough money to say this sh*t. If they axed him immediatley and sent all of his salary to the Haitains thousands of lives could be saved. What a travesty! How are people like Rush any different then the crazy religious preachers on the corner of big cities
  14. She was also running around downtown Atlanta without shoes on..
  15. "Pants on the ground, pants on the ground. You looking like a fool with your pants on the ground. Hat turned sideways, gold in your mouth your looking like a fool with your pants on the ground!" GREAT SONG! This should start a movement in communities for those fools to raise their pants! This guy deserves a grammy!
  16. The pictures and news is so devistating. Their prime minister estimates hundreds of thousands dead http://www.cnn.com/2010/WORLD/americas/01/13/haiti.earthquake/index.html
  17. Yeah taxes are a killer. I won a trip from Say No to Drugs in 1990 to Florida...I remember it was for 3 nights to Orlando/Universal Studios, hotel and $150 spending money. I remember my dad complaining that the "free" trip cost him in excess of $700!!
  18. Simpsons would have been on my list if it stopped in 1998... I still think it is hillarious too..it is very dated though but I enjoy every episode and can think of very few misteps the show has taken.
  19. Voted...I love Macadamian nuts..though they are quite expensive! I am glad to help!
  20. I think I have an borderline unhealthy obsession with it. I went to the travel show in NYC and met the producer (trying to see what it takes to get a job there) and met Ian Wright and Megan McCromick. I really enjoy all these travel shows because they go to places that very few humans ever step foot in. It is like going to the moon but on earth! Anyway point is NYC travel show is awesome because they have presentations by all the folks on travel chanel. I saw Andrew Zimmern, Samantha Brown, Rick Steves, Globe Trekker presenters etc...this geography and travel nerds heaven!
  21. Great pictures from the hey day of flying 50-60's.... http://www.life.com/image/53367148/in-gallery/38402/when-flying-was-fun
  22. Seinfeld Sopranos Curb Your Enthusiasm The Critic Cheers Globe Trekker Amazing Race Anthony Bourdain "No Reservations" Mr. Bean
  23. Shot in the Arm has two versions on 1 album and is played live at every Wilco concert...I would think this wins, no?
