I agree with you I would even go back as far as 2001-2003 with this comment. No matter how many times I have seen Wilco since the Yankee and Ghost Tour I have always heard Shot, Spiders, I'm The Man, Jesus, Heavy Metal, IATTBYH, Late Greats, Handshake, Theologians, Hummingbird, California Stars..that is pretty much half a setlist written in stone)....The 5 night residency gave me false hope. Sure occasionly Wilco bust out a long absent song like Box Full of Letters or Wishful Thinking but it is far and few between.

I thought with the new album out soon there would have been a healthy setlist shaking....looks like not so much...I was thinking at least 6 new songs per night would make an appearence...Definatley would be nice to switch out some old standards too...

Someone bought the $20,000 package! Story here.. http://blog.wired.com/underwire/2009/04/paying-20000-fo.html -
It was poorly written. Like you said before it is the first step. I believe under Obama eventually all will be able to travel to Cuba from the USA

http://finance.yahoo.com/news/Obama-to-all...f-14911322.html Looks like we are heading down the path of the embargo and travel ban to Cuba being lifted. I think it will be a welcome change. I do think it will greatly impact Cuba, especially the old world charm of Havana. I have never been but seen pictures of all the old automobiles on the street and it seems unique and I am sure would be quite a site to see in person. I will visit Cuba when the time comes as I enjoy Cuban food, Cigars (I have them when I travel internationally ) and drinks (yum) and I am curious about Cuba. Has anyone bee

The logitech had awesome sound and it was $100 brand new when I got it in 2007. The other issue is I leave it on my desk at work. Don't want to leave anything too expensive lying around...I see some boses though on ebay for $100-150...of course those have been previously used...
-
I like Bose..got their noise cancelling headphones which are awesome...just trying to save a few bucks but I do see your point!

Hi..I had a logitech Ipod dock and I used it for about 6 hours a day for 2 years and then it just crapped out. I was wondering if anyone has one that they can recommend that works well, sounds great and it sorta reasonable...thanks! Hope this is the right forum for this question....

Bob, Neil etc......still relevant in 2009?
remphish1 replied to Wild Frank's topic in Someone Else's Song
You are not the only one...I listen to artist who are relevant and others who aren't. Whatever music I listen to is just music I like no matter what category it falls into. -

You are entitled to your opinon but I am tired of people forcing their views of the bible on everyone. Is your view on gay marriage a personal belief or one that stems from your religious view? My thoughts are that everyone should be entitled to equal rights. How does gay marriage affect you on a day to day basis? If you want to be married and have 2.4 kids go ahead that the American Way but let everyone else be entitled to freedom and rights (Also the American Way)! I define Marriage as a life long commitment to a partner filled with love weather it is the same sex or the other sex.

Bob, Neil etc......still relevant in 2009?
remphish1 replied to Wild Frank's topic in Someone Else's Song
I hate to say it but if Bob and Neal where new artist who only came out a few years ago they would not be relevant. How many people are influenced by new music from these two? I am not denying their unbelievable catelog of great music over decades but take their music from 2000 and up and I don't see it being too relevant... Also in the same vein I would almost say any artist established between 1950-1985 are really not writting relevant albums... Example... Elton John, Rolling Stones, As much as I love REM they are not relevant now, Aerosmith.... -
Wow time has flied... http://www.cnn.com/2009/SHOWBIZ/Music/04/0...sary/index.html Used to be a big fan! Was supposed to see them in 1994 at the Continental Arena in NJ and my mom wouldn't let me...I was 14 at the time. That was their 3rd to last show ever! Still listen to their music from time to time and get sentimental....

I love the Being There tour where Bob Egan ripped it up on the lap steel for several of the songs! Far, Far Away sounded marvelous!

I need to make it down there soon! Zorbing must have been wild!

Saw him in Montclair. Was a strong start then around Best Friend the energy wained. Still a great show but the last tour was better! Charming Man and Ask were worth the price of admission though!
