It is crazy how the politics are down there and there is something to be said about Chavez and his control over Venezuela and a huge supply of Oil. I am supprised Bush hasn't done more about him? Also...pardon my geek geography statement. Venezuela is not part of Latin America.

Is taking pictures then any different then taking pictures now? People still take pictures of sites of great destruction...Pearl Harbor, Gettysburg etc...I took a few pictures about a month or so after I am not going to lie. My reasons were so I can share them with my kids whenever I have them. Then again I was not a tourist as I have lived in the area for 20 years at that point. In addition I have also saved some major newspaper headlines etc...I am a history junkie and save things from major events. I do think it is crass though to take pictures to profit. Some of the attackers involved were planning some of the events while staying in my hometown of Wayne and these attackers stayed at the Wayne Inn a month or so before. They also all bought their sunglasses used during the attack at our local mall. It frightens me to this day knowing that that was going on less than a few miles from where my family lives.

I know it is straying off the original message of the topic but hearing others stories I believe is theraputic. I was in State College, PA at Penn State when it happened. I was actually at a radio station in town watching the tv's live as the 2nd plane hit. I was supposed to meet with a programmer there to discuss an advertising campaign that I was involved in. It is a scary economic time. I used to invest in the market but was spooked by the economy and pulled out everything awhile back. Although I have no money in the market I still keep up on economic news and watch the market. Anyway if anyone was watching United Stock yesterday an unbelivable event happened. An 6 year old news story came out yesterday with a new date on it. The stock was at $11.50 or so then said newstory came out..within a minute or so the stock dropped to $3! Yikes I can't pronounce or spell their songs titles in regards to Sigur Ros but tracks 7 Vidrar and 8 Olsen Olsen have two of possibly my favorite moments in recorded music. The Build up at the end of Vidrar and how it all comes apart in the end give me goose bumps every time. Also the when the Choir comes in towards the end of Olsen Olsen has simiar results for me.
