One of my goals is to visit all 50 states. The last one I have left is North Dakota. I have an airline credit and know I will be there before next year when the thing expires. My plan is to fly into Minneapolis spend a day or so then go to North Dakota....so this leads me to my next questions. What is to do there that is not a big distance from Minneapolis? I know the Badlands are there along with Roosvelt National Park but thats on the other side of the state. Anyone been to Fargo or Grand Forks? Any national parks or historic sites to see? I know Custard's last stand was somewhere in ND. Any

The Iraqi government wants a timetable for withdrawal
remphish1 replied to MrRain422's topic in Tongue-Tied Lightning
Yeah probably true....anyway I thought I would share my favorite argument thus far to stay in Iraq... "It would be dangerous to withdraw troops from Iraq" Hmmm but I guess it is not dangerous to stay in? -

I think some "mostly democrats" have been asking for a timetable to withdraw for years! Also on a similar note congressional approval rating is at 9%! http://news.yahoo.com/s/rasmussen/20080708...ongress20080708 -

I saw Urge Overkill at the Bowery in NYC about 2 months ago! They sounded verrrrrrrrrry rusty! They did mention they were recording a new album. Although they sounded unrehersed they played some gems off Exit the Dragon which is an awesome record (Take Me, Need a Break, Someone Else's Body, Last Night/Tomrrow) along with 8 songs or so off Saturation! http://www.flickr.com/photos/nattydotorg/2454771976/

I enjoy the stories too. I am not sure why people would find it boring. I enjoy it. The thread has over 100 post so it appears people like to share their stories too! -

Ah Peru. I have been to the Lima airport which was nice. I did then venture to Chile which was beautiful but very polluted (Air quality was poor). If you are prone to altitude sickness make sure you drink a lot of water and hey also have a special altitude tea that helps. You will feel the altitude in Peru as I felt it in Chile I am sure. I always also pack some snacks because as I find when I travel abroad it is good to have some things to pick up and go in the morning in case you are in a secluded area.It is also comforting to have if you get sick of the food or are hungry because the port
