  5. Ah Peru. I have been to the Lima airport which was nice. I did then venture to Chile which was beautiful but very polluted (Air quality was poor). If you are prone to altitude sickness make sure you drink a lot of water and hey also have a special altitude tea that helps. You will feel the altitude in Peru as I felt it in Chile I am sure. I always also pack some snacks because as I find when I travel abroad it is good to have some things to pick up and go in the morning in case you are in a secluded area.It is also comforting to have if you get sick of the food or are hungry because the port

  14. I am not sure if I shared this with anyone so I figured I might as well if I haven't. I was introduced to My Morning Jacket in 1998...certianly by a strange circumstance. I went to school at Penn State and my dorm neighbohr was from Louisville. We got into a music discussion one day and I told him I liked Son Volt, etc. He said well you should check out this band from Louisville (Which is where he is from) called My Morning Jacket. He would tell me that the lead singer went out with his sister in high school. He lent me a cassett with some demos. I thought it was just ok and never bothered muc
  15. Sigur Ros at United Palace! I am there. Just got the new album today. Not bad on the first listen! If I get tickets this will be my 6th time seeing them! They get better and better each time!
  16. Glouster, MA I believe? Beautiful town on the northern coast!
  17. REM first hear Stand on the radio back in 89...dug it. Then saw Losing My Religions premeir on MTV when I was 10. I used to sneak downstairs and watch MTV after mindnight when I was young. All the best bands were on late at night on MTV back then. Wilco read about Being There's album review in Rolling Stone Mag and it sounded interesting. Bought it..rest is history. Radiohead obviously heard Creep when it was out thought of it as a one ht onder. Then heard Just when that came out and was floored. Bought the album and didn't look back.
