Nothing to be taken away from Guided By Voices because they are talented. I have even seen them live 2 times and they put on a great show but you can't be serious? Do you own Up? Tell me those songs aren't well constructed? Reveal certianly had its moments and Accelerate is Very Solid. Give it another listen

The NYC show seems to be doing alright..Most of the Orchestra is sold out. I am still surprised at the $35 price tag (Which after service charge and shipping if you order 1 ticket is about $48!!!!) So my guess is so far it sold 700 or so tickets.

I was just in Alaska this past summer! Too bad they didn't play when I was there! Alaska though is freakin beautiful! Everyone should go once in their lifetime. The scenery right outside of Anchorage is some of the most beautiful sights I have seen in all my travels. If anyone goes I recommend driving to Seward from Anchorage. If time permits I also suggest to those who will go from Anchorage to Fairbanks to go the eastern route through Delta Junction to Fairbanks.
