remphish1 replied to candyfloss1214's topic in Someone Else's Song
This is his 4th USA date this year actually??? He started the tour in Omaha and went to Austin and somewhere else??? -
Actually his girlfriend is considered a murder suspect? It hasn't been officially ruled yet from what I last heard.

I saw two of his last shows ever 6/5/03 Maxwells Hoboken, NJ 6/7/03 Field Day, Giants Stadium NJ It was awesome to hear the new stuff live. I also got to speak to Elliott at both of these shows. I miss him and his shows were a real treat. Picture from before the Maxwells show...

Genesis plan reunion tour Peter Gabriel still steers clear Genesis are planning a reunion tour - but without founding member Peter Gabriel, who left the group in 1975. The band - Phil Collins, Mike Rutherford and Tony Banks - will reform for a series of live shows. Collins's last album with the band was 1991's 'We Can't Dance'. A spokesman said that specific details of the reunion - including possible new material - would be announced in the next few weeks. The band have sold over 130 million albums worldwide since forming in 1965.

You can't go wrong with any Elliott Smith! My vote is for No Name #3 or Coming Up Roses

Well it sounds like you enjoyed your Everclear expierence more than I did mine. I worked security for a show of theirs back in 2000 or so and although I wasn't really watching the show it was still the worst concert I have seen in my life. This is out of 600 concerts and I have seen some pretty bad ones. They sounded so poor. It seemed like they never rehearsed. It was really embarrising. I knew alot of there songs but I couldn't recognize any of them because the playing was soooo muddy. The sound system sucked too. I also saw them with the orginal members Anyhoo...I usually like any band li

I like em lots..but they are by far the wussiest band of all time. If you are Feeling Sinsiter is one of my all time favorite albums. Seen em in concert about 5 times. They always mix up the setlist which I love!

They opened up for the Who at MSG and they were booed off the stage. I really didn't like them but A) Its not my type of music B It is not an appropriate opener for the Who and C) the sound was really unbalanced for them. Im sure at Irving Plaza it would have been executed better.

This has got to be one of my favorite shows. I am a travel junkie and really like to see obscure locals and this works for me. Also I am always amazed at the camera work for the show. It is incredible that the camera people run, don't block eachothers shots and get all these amzaing shots from behind and ahead of the competetors! This year supposedly they are going to Mongolia and Madagascar (two place which I am curious about)! Anyway I am excited! Anyone else watching?
