  2. I was at the NYC travel show. I asked him I know you are the expert on European travel but have you ever thought of doing some Asia shows. He said NO THAT IS WHY I AM A EUROPE EXPERT...literary half a year later he did a special on Iran.
  3. ^It's billed as a 40th anniversary tour so I don't see Wildflowers being really represented to much in this tour
  4. ^I'll check it out..I met him once however and he was an a-hole...
  5. ^My biggest complaint about Petty is the setlist don't change all tour!
  6. Thanks. Any particular reason? I'm going for three nights if I go and it is super cheap! Airfare is $250 from here and an air bnb nice one is about $50 a night. Between the rum and cigars I'm pretty excited. I have found some pretty neat museums so I figure I don't have much to lose and want go before it becomes Americanized

  12. If I had to pick one it was the First Time I saw REM. Was 15 and was listening to them since I was 9. My friends parents dropped us of at Madison Square Garden. It was unbelievable to finally hear them live. Every song made me excited with anticipation. Looking back even though it wasn't the best setlist of all the times I have seen them it was beyond memorable and opened a door to me to see live music. Runner up: Wilco Irving Plaza Being There Tour Beck Sessions at West 54th Taping
  13. Nada surf version is good too but clash for the win
  14. I was! Had the same name as here! This has been my screen name since 1995!!
  15. Louie from what I hear from friends that went too is you can have a "full" day schedule of educational activities that include interaction with locals done independently. You have to sign an affidavit that this was your purpose. I can easily be happy seeing museums and listening to jazz as cultural activities all day. From what I have heard only one person/group has been called out since 2010 in falsifying their affidavit and that was redbull for filming without a permit. It seems like the rules are fairly loose now for the educational/person to person qualifier for a visa.
  16. Gosh the early bird tickets are within $25 of the Beacon Theater prices after fees..Solid sound is a solid deal!
  17. Great deals direct flights from Newark, NJ..I see you still need one of 12 reasons to qualify for a visit and can't go strictly as a tourist. I have no problem filling up an itinerary for educational purposes but was wondering if anyone went and any pointers?
  18. He is the oldest in the band by a few years Stipe was born in 1960 and Mills and Berry were in 1958
