Why are you defending scalping? In both of my posts I used words like "assume" and "guess". It was not a scientific study to put a specific number on "legitimately brokered" tickets, or whatever euphemism you want to slap on it. It was a casual guess born of simple curiosity of how many tickets were bought for these shows with the express purpose of reselling the tickets at (significant) profit (SCALPING). My guess would be that between 15 and 20% of the available tickets were purchased by scalpers. I'm assuming (as I said in my other post) that simply counting the tickets available today on eBay is not a complete representation of scalped tickets out there or those already sold. To fans who tried to get tickets and failed, another 300 to 500 per show would have a made significant difference. Personally, I tried for tickets during the Saturday sale. I quickly perused eBay for ticket sellers and prices. On the regular eBay tickets there were approxomately 250 tickets up for sale. The StubHub deal had a total of 1000 tickets for all 5 nights. Going to my first Wilco show 3 years ago, opened the flood gates of a dormant passion to see live music. Wilco fans are mostly terrific. No. I don't care about being a connoisseur. I don't care about Chicago v New York pizza, as I have not eaten pizza in either city. I just care about what tastes good. I slung pizza for 10 years and never grew tired of eating it. One of the best pizzas I have ever eaten was from a tiny hippie joint nestled in the Ozarks outside of Eureka Springs. (Might have been the all day canoe trip that preceded it, however!) My solution to the Imo's pizza issue is having eaten it once about 15 years ago, I never ate it again. Life's too short for sketchy pizza.

Yeah...it was the cheese thing that I remember. It was nasty. I remember thinking, "Surely they didn't mean to do this". Provel? Ew. My trio of pizza cheese is usually smoked provolone, pecorino and parmesan either grated or in the pesto. Gorgonzola or bleu frequently. The only 'processing' occurs on top of the stone in my oven. Home made pizza tonight biotches!
