Nice linkage, B! I forgot that the show happened while we were asleep (is that right?). God bless the person who kept track of all that shuffling of personnel, lead singers and so forth. Also I wonder if anyone will be able to shed more light on the comment about those "two last unplanned Wilco songs at Neils insistence... Not up on my Wilco so others will have to fill in the blanks."

From my (admittedly possibly faulty) recollection, the filming took place at one of the nights in Washington at 9:30; at the Ryman in Nashville; in Mobile, Ala,. (at the Mobile Arena); one of the nights at Tipitina's in New Orleans; and at Cain's Ballroom in Tulsa. I know they did some fan interviews on line in various places and took extra footage (other than just concert footage), so my guess is it'll probably incorporate some of that stuff. I would think that the Sunken Treasure DVD of Jeff's solo tour would be a good guideline of what the upcoming release might be like.

Yeah, apparently she is. They played together at Bridge School along with Sasha Dobson in a group that is apparently called Dixie Fried. They've played a few gigs in small places around New York.

Though there wasn't a great deal of variety in songs played, tonight was nonetheless a fun way to close out the tour with special guests aplenty and collaborations across the three bands. In the end, the collaborations might not have exactly been the types people were expecting or hoping for, but everyone looked like they were having a blast and that translated to the performances. Wilco's set was as follows: You Are My Face IATTBYH Handshake Drugs A Shot in the Arm Impossible Germany Jesus, etc. (w/Norah Jones, Catherine Popper and Sasha Dobson on background vocals)

Everest invited the Watson Twins out to sing with them on a couple of songs. Apparently one of the Everests is married to one of the Twins. Not sure what this really has to do with anything, but anyway. Also, did anyone spot the Donald at the show? He was sitting with a couple of younger guys in the first tier at stage left and flanked by at least of couple of bodyguards/goons. (Thanks for pointing him out, Doug, and good to meet you!) Wonder if Mr. Trump hung around for Neil's entire set? I'm guessing not.

It's sad to see so many independent record stores shutting their doors these days. I had never been to Atomic, but I ducked in last week when I was passing through Milwaukee and it seemed like a cool place. I think currently there's a 20 percent off everything sale through the end of the month and I saw that they're going to haul a bunch of other stuff out in January before they close for good. It sucks that for a lot of the stores that I've seen close in the last couple of years, they get way more business after they announce they're closing than they ever did while they were open. Seems

You probably mean bt.etree.org, right? And to answer the earlier question, shows usually end up on one of the typical torrent sites like bt.etree or Dime. Often, a taper will post a link in the appropriate "After The Show" thread here on VC.

The show was definitely taped, but it's considered good form to give tapers some time to work on their recordings before asking about them. Some put shows up remarkably quickly, but be patient. Give 'em at least a week before asking for stuff. I also meant to mention earlier that I'm pretty sure Pot Kettle Black and Hoodoo Voodoo were also on the printed setlist, but not played. Looked like Jeff audibled out of PKB after A Shot in the Arm, for whatever reason. And Hoodoo was listed as the closer, but they didn't wind up doing it. Just before the show started, the crew welcomed Glenn back from his one-show hiatus in style by adorning his drum kit with a variety of brightly colored flowers (I saw some carnations and maybe hibiscus in there). And Jeff made several comments about how glad they were to have "the best drummer in the world" back and how he had skipped out on a rock show to play Carnegie Hall, etc. Sincere of course, but also sometimes delivered in a tone of giving Glenn shit which I think everyone enjoys. Yeah, I doubt it unless someone was stealthing. They're pretty strict at Carnegie Hall in general, even though Zankel is supposed to be the more casual, avant garde space. No recording and definitely no photos (though I saw a few people snap some at the end when the ushers weren't as hawkish as usual), unfortunately.

That sounds like a fun set in Toronto...definitely memorable anyway. A question for anyone at the TO show: Did the line from "Passenger Side" ("Roll another number for the road") got any sort of special reaction from the Neil crowd? I went to the Kronos show here in NYC, and Glenn seemed to be in fine health. I think he'll be just fine for the Rochester show on Saturday night. Glad you guys were able to see Gary, Tamala and Joyce! I don't think I've ever managed to see him solo, though I saw the Jayhawks a bunch of times. Excited to hear about some upcoming Jayhawks dates!

Again, it's tough to give a decent report on the debut of this new song having heard it just once and in a stripped-down arrangement. My first impressions were that it's a mid-tempo number with some pretty evocative lyrics, though definitely not as immediately catchy as the song that was debuted on the first day of Bridge School. Rereading some of the lyrics I managed to scrawl down, the tone seems to be a fairly bleak one: "There's nothing left here/The country has disappeared" and "Hold out your hands/So much you don't understand/Stick as close as you can" and something about "best laid plan
