Really great white soul ie Horns on every typically fantastic song. Kalle is going to be lucky to see him - especially if he has some kind of large band.

Corb Lund - Truck Got Stuck The Chev got stuck And the Ford got stuck Got the Chev unstuck When the Dodge showed up But the Dodge got stuck in the tractor rut Which eventually pulled out the Ford

Have loved this cd long time But have never seen this vid before: even love how the child's ride does not start immediately.

Yes and might I say sir that you have excellent, excellent taste. Matt - sorry about the Black Crows. sorry about the DBTs. sorry about Lucero. By all rights I should like them, but do not. on the other hand, I don't think you get into Reigning Sound, or the Deadly Snakes/Andre Ethier very much, so this all sorta works out.

I's with Custer and the 7th in '76 or '77 Scalped at Little Big Horn by the Sioux And the pain and desperation of a once proud warrior nation This I know 'cause I was riding with them too Well I've worn the Mounties crimson, if you're silent and you listen You'll know that it was with them that I stood When Mayerthorpe, she cried, as her four horsemen died Gunned down in scarlet, coldest blood

watchmen crap: I didn't know Matt 'Max Headroom' Frewer was going to be Molock. before you all go 'oh gawd', he's been absolutely excellent in the TV series Intelligence.

Thanks Froggie! Just going through some of the clips: Mick Harvey, Sarah Blasko, Liza Miller, Paul Kelly, Paul Hester, Ed Keupper ...and they're doing inspired covers: Sundown, Slave to Love, Tin Soldier, Holee shit, I wish I could see the whole thing. May have to order a DVD or 3. like wow:

Gonna try to make it to the CD release party, but at this point that's just a hope. Can't wait to hear the new one. On to Youtube clips of some Aussie rock program call Rockwiz. Great cover of The Small Faces 'Tin soldier' by Tim Rogers and someone callled Talei Wolfgramm of the Wolgramm sisters. That looks like the best TV program in the world.

so so and only half good releases from the National and Hold Steady. Hope Elliott Brood and the new Calexico don't wuss out to salvage the rest of the musical year.

thanks. Have to start playing Stealer's Wheel now I guess

So I wonder who it will be? If I'm remembering and thinking correctly, it must be an Avengers tie in to pump that movie and the Hulk didn't have too much to do with the Avengers. Wasn't the hulk more Defenders/Doc Strange/Silver Surfer stuff. Samuel L. Jackson is the luckiest actor around. It would be cool if some of the Steranko Nick Fury stuff ever made it on screen. All the Scorpio plot line certainly seems made for an adaptation:

I did not. I do know that Reba McIntrye covered it, but just hearing the opening keyboards brings back these huge memories of the Carol Burnett show and playing the 45 over and over again.

There is some comment by David Simon that when he had first finished reading 'Clockers' he got really discouraged from trying to bring the Corner and the Wire to life. Someone had beaten him to the punch. I guess if you can't beat him, you get him to join. Oh ho ho It's Magic!

The Nights the Lights Went out in Georgia - Vicki Lawrence. Gawd, I have not heard this for 30 years. 'The georgia patrol was making their rounds So he fired a shot just to flag em down And a big bellied sheriff grabbed his gun and said Why'd you do it?'
