Second Son - Elliott Brood It's apparent that his parents never loved him at all. He's a second son of the friend of a chosen one. Now he's threatening to fall. It's been so long since this town done well hung one of it's own So it's been so bad. Killing's what he had done to his family own. Alright! Alright, he'll take that right now He'll be a good child. Love you a way. You know that fucker Alright well sit inside He'll come on down to the ground Watch as we come and hear The second son of the friend of the chosen one And he'll meet his end Now he's threatening to fall. Me too again. This is very strong.

okay, okay, me three! What do you guys think? I still have to listen to it a bit more and perhaps pick up his earlier cd with that 'Bury me Blues' song. It knocked my socks off.

looks like a good proportion of Patrick songs. Good!

Opps sorry. There's a band up here called DD/MM/YYYY and I don't know how to pronounce thier name, not wanting to say D D M M Y Y Y Y all the time. Guess it is better than the band called T B A.

more and more this is my cd for the decade. Can't believe that it's 5 years old.

Tallest Man on Earth - Shallow Grave. Choosing a best of the year will be sooo tough. 'Let's cuddle steel We will lie in sheets and turn around all their limit signs'

again, finally a real copy. My mp3s actually sound almost nothing like this and I love the shimmery mechanical sound on Flume. Honestly it had never come through on the Ipod doc. It's soooo nice having a (relatively) good stereo.

Yeah - that little kick at the end of the hamorny verses is so nice. I need to be in the mood for this thing, which is a bit different that the obsessive listening I did for Great Highway.

Managed to snag a copy with the bonus disc and I really like the alt versions of those songs.

Finally got a real copy of this thing. Love it.

yeah - Me neither. I can't stand Jens Lekman. Hello Saferide and Peter Bjorn and John had a really short shelf life. Too cute and sugary

Isn't it? Sorta puts the other Swedish Folkies to shame. The packaging on Kensington Heights - wow. It's a fold out that forms the body of this elongated Cessna. Looks like the whole thing was photographed and constructed by Dallas Wehrle and it really lends weight to the statement about this being a band where everybody puts in a huge effort.

My first of the re-issues. 'We're coming out'

I certainly like Neko with the NPs, but Gotta say that Katherine Calder is no slouch in the vocals department. You could definitely tell her voice in the harmonies and it was really beautiful. In TO with Neko there, Katherine was manning the keyboards and singing backup, but during Neko's lead, Catherine was mouthing the words away from the mic. It was kind of cute.
