I hear ya, agree with all of it. the Shanny thing for me is, we always seem to be one goal short. We haven't had a sniper. well since, Neely I think. Kessel WILL be one, but not yet. I think if we had Shanny, we woulda tied that Flame game last night. I do hate messing with the youth we have.

I hear ya, but, Claude got us to the playoffs last year, and came darn close to beating the Habs. we have a young core, that are pretty exciting, they need a little seasoning, and Claude will let go of the lease a bit. we all love exciting hockey, but losing 6-4 doesn't work for me. A 2-1 Bruin win does. the B's finally look to be on the right road. Walken, what ya feel about Shanny ? He's old, but I'd love him on the Bruins NOW. he could pot 20 easy, playing with Savard.

i'm not going to try and cover for the Cubs, best record, ya gotta win. The thing is, base ball needs to reward a team that plays 162 games, and has the best record, like the Angels an extra home game. The best of 5 is a crap shoot as it is. All those games and then a best of 5 ? I wish the greedy owners & players would go back to 154, and have to play World Series games in the freezing cold. i'm a bit long in the tooth, but I remember afternoon playoff games, and liking it.
