duzer
So if you could have one "lovey dovey" wilco/tweedy song on a CD you will give folks at your wedding what would it be. I have some ideas, but want suggestions from real fans and no heavy metal drummer....
Mr. Tony Margaritatime
My vote would be for "Far, Far Away", but if your going to get your freak on Lil' John style, I would suggest "Millionaire"
Atticus
in a future age?? Kamera always reminds me of the time when I met my now wife, but I wouldn't call it "lovey dovey." hmpf. that's tough with wilco songs. A lot of times the melodies that would match the kind of cd you're talking about don't have lyrics that would and vice-versa (e.g. "via chicago" has a lovely melody, but lines like "I dreamed about killing you again last night" probably won't fit the whole "wedding" motif) I'll run through some of my tweedy shows after work and see if anything comes to mind... --Neil

awatt
"Sappy love songs"? By Jeff Tweedy? Only song that comes close is Guthrie's Hesitating Beauty, I think. The rest usually touch on depression, sadness, darkness, melancholy, miscommunication, etc., that comes with love..... Or is it just me?
