wedding song suggestions

Recommended Posts

So if you could have one "lovey dovey" :wub wilco/tweedy song on a CD you will give folks at your wedding what would it be.

I have some ideas, but want suggestions from real fans

and no :rock heavy metal drummer....

in a future age??

Kamera always reminds me of the time when I met my now wife, but I wouldn't call it "lovey dovey."

hmpf.

that's tough with wilco songs. A lot of times the melodies that would match the kind of cd you're talking about don't have lyrics that would and vice-versa (e.g. "via chicago" has a lovely melody, but lines like "I dreamed about killing you again last night" probably won't fit the whole "wedding" motif)

I'll run through some of my tweedy shows after work and see if anything comes to mind...

"Sappy love songs"? By Jeff Tweedy? :blink

Only song that comes close is Guthrie's Hesitating Beauty, I think. The rest usually touch on depression, sadness, darkness, melancholy, miscommunication, etc., that comes with love.....

Or is it just me? :ohwell
