plasticeyeball
no offense to your kids, but ham on a bagel with mayo sounds a little gross. i know! just so you all know, i went the way of Pocahontas and it worked! same dinner for everyone, it was magical
austrya
Am I the only unprepared disorganized bastard with spoiled kids? No, you're not. My 4 year old argues with us most nights because he suddenly doesn't like the same kind of chicken that we had 2 weeks ago when he couldn't get enough of it. He eats a lot of peanut butter and jelly. My 8 year old, on the other hand, eats whatever we're eating.
austrya
Spaghetti and Garlic Bread Hey, that's what we had too. I made the sauce on Sunday and put it in the freezer. All I had to do today is cook the noodles. You got to love homemade fast food.

ction
The salmon was just ok tonight. The boy liked it though, as he almost ate an 8 oz piece by himself. The baby ate slop and seemed to like his meal better than all of us.

cryptique
I made a lovely stir-fry of chicken, broccoli, snow peas, red peppers, and a few other things. Dumped a couple of tablespoons of black bean & garlic sauce on top of it. Mmmm-mmmm-good. Yes, it's nearly midnight and I'm still thinking about this evening's meal. Mr. Kinsley
Baja Fresh Chicken Ultimo Burrito. No rice or sour cream for the missus, straight up for me. Every Thursday, same thing. Will switch to the occasional taco, but for some reason it's strangely comforting to have that ritual. It just says, 'Tomorrow is Friday, the weekend is almost here.' Besides, BF is just inconsistent enough that the burrito isn't actually the same everytime. Adds a bit of suspense to the proceedings. Wow I need to get out more. EL the Famous
Subway. Logan wouldn't let the wife put him down and she had no patience to fix dinner. Afterwards, she went to Costco and I helped Owen battle the sleep monster until he finally zonked out. They had formula and pureed avacado.
