MrRain422
Were they wearing green tonight or is that just a strangely lit picture?
bjorn_skurj
It was their "Halfway to St. Patrick's Day" night, though why they did it tonight and not on the 17th is a bit puzzling.
Duck-Billed Catechist
They were wearing green. Thome had some spanking green socks. Half-way to St. Patrick's Day promotion. Even though it isn't, or usually isn't when they have it. Â That first picture was actually not from tonight, it's just a classic AJ walk-off.
MrRain422
I think they're going to be out of town on the 17th.
bobbob1313
Those are awesome unis. Â The Marlins are done. I'm an eternal optimist, and it's just too hard to continue at the pace we were on and have all of the 3 teams we are chasing go down. It's too much.
Reni
I have a green Sox/Buehrle tee......yay for that promotion, I like the green swag! Â Â look at Jim Thome. He looks like he has been photoshopped in and he looks a bit "special"
myboyblue
Â WOOT. The Sox just need to capitalize on these big wins that they keep having. Put some pressure on the Tigers and Twins. Momentum. I'm going to call a Saturday/Sunday sweep for the White Sox.
Duck-Billed Catechist
No Cub pitcher has thrown a complete game this year. No major league team has ever gone a full season without one.

jenbobblehead
you know i love the royals, even when they beat the red sox (and especially when the whup the yankees and the white sox) which they have been doing with ease lately, but damn if that mascot isn't totally ghey. Sluggerrrr? favorite musical--CATS? wtf!? he's a lion, with a crown seemingly growing out of his head, but no lion's mane, oddly enough. Â me: says here his favorite song is "The Lion Sleeps Tonite," caliber: should be "its raining men."me: hahahhahaha.
Duck-Billed Catechist
The MVP is a single short of the cycle. He probably won't get it.

MrRain422
If not for Frank Thomas, Travis Hafner's injury would be destroying my chances in my main fantasy league. I can't believe he was still available.
Reni
I have a soft spot for the Royals, in spite of the 85 World Series. Â And no, no ghey lion on my tee......I will send a pic one of these days
caliber66
If not for Frank Thomas, Travis Hafner's injury would be destroying my chances in my main fantasy league. I can't believe he was still available. I did that today, too!
bobbob1313
Dontrelle actually allowed less baserunners today than Anibal did during his no-hitter.
Nobody Girl
If the people who've been impersonating A's starting pitchers for the last week could go away and bring the real guys back, that would be great. In the five starts before Sunday's game, they had a 10.17 ERA and Zito didn't help matters Sunday. Â Frank Thomas is going nuts.I really hope the front office can get something worked out with him for next season.
